As a solo female traveler, staying here I felt so safe and at home. The owner and his wife are so utterly sweet and hardworking. The owner has a TukTuk and for a very fair price, he picked me up/dropped me off at the train station. On top of this, he offered different excursion options on his TukTuk for tea plantations, hikes, waterfalls, etc. The owner honestly went above and beyond, not only was he a wonderful host, but also a great driver and tour guide. What really touched my heart was when he took me to the Horton Plains National Park and ended up doing the WHOLE hike with me because he did not want me to do it alone and wanted to make sure I was safe. Their home is a very cute 100+-year-old house, with two rooms. The room was spotlessly clean and had comfy beds with warm blankets for the chilly nights. The price includes breakfast and if you have an early excursion/train time they pack you a full breakfast as well! They also offer lunch and dinner, which the wife cooks. It was honestly the best food I had on my trip to Sri Lanka especially the chicken curry and dhal curry.

It is amazing. The interior of the house is an artwork itself. Heidi is extremely helpful and organised our visit to World’s End and packed our breakfast. Dinner was delicious. We went for a jog around Lake Gregory which was wonderful.

The host Rajith and his family were really lovely and welcoming. We felt like friends only after one night. The breakfast and food they served was delicious and the room was nice and clean with a comfortable bed. Highly recommend this place.

This place is peaceful, cosy, clean , well organized ,got a great mountain view and very close to center . Food is delicious. But that’s not the best part : Malinda is very professional, smart, kind, caring and friendly person . He took care of us like family . We sincerely felt like home. Thank you!

Offering a garden and garden view, Loversleap bungalow is located in Nuwara Eliya, 4.6 km from Gregory Lake and 11 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. Exceptionally kind, friendly and helpful hosts. They went above and beyond to help me when my scooter broke down 25 mins drive away, coming to pick me up with a truck for the scooter and were hugely helpful with local arrangements, suggestions and with making sure I could do my online meeting. Delicious breakfast and sweet staff. Highly recommended!

AGP home is an accommodation located in Nuwara Eliya, 1.8 km from Gregory Lake and 5.7 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. The best hosts you could wish for. Maybe you can find homes in better location, or fancy hotels but I can assure you that you miss one of the best experience in Sri Lanka if you stay elsewhere. Food is great, the home is warm (which is a good thing in Nuwara Eliya) and comfortable. The host is a former tourguide, so if you are interested in the history and the true current state of Sri Lanka, he will tell you all, show you around and makes sure you leave with a smile on your face. 10/10 , next time we will stay more days there.
