There are forests and caves to explore just a few minutes away by car. Also, the Moulouya National Park, which is a good place to watch flamingos, is an hour’s drive away, as are Saïdia Marina and the Corniche. I spent three wonderfully relaxing nights here and would certainly like to come again. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the roof looking at the view and watching the starts at night. This is a good base from which to explore the less visited parts of northeast Morocco. Definitely worthwhile.
