Mike is an amazing host and the property is peaceful, private and just what we needed. The hot tub was especially nice to return to in the evenings!! Just 450 metres from Kororareka Bay, Bellrock Lodge offers studios with a private balcony and lovely bay and town views. The owners Catherine and Stewart were the perfect hosts! They had a great balance between privacy and sharing important information about where to go.

Set in the Bay of Islands, Fantail River Lodge offers a garden. All rooms feature a TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Rooms come with a balcony with views of the garden. The breakfast supplies were varied and ample. The surrounds of the gardens were beautiful and we enjoyed strolling around them. The host was very friendly and helpful, providing information about good restaurants and things to do in the area. The accomodation was only a 5 minute drive to Paihia.

We enjoyed every conversation at breakfast, all of the perfect travel tips, and the care with which they tended to us. Breakfast was yummy.
