3 km from Fitzroy Beach, Almost Heaven BNB is a recently renovated property set in New Plymouth and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Lovely little location next to a stream. Room was comfortable with all that was needed if you wanted to cook anything there was plenty facilities in the communal kitchen area where you can be all together or sit outside (weather permitting). The hosts were really friendly and helpful, recommending places to visit and where to eat.

Views for days, the little house is immaculate and really comfortable. Little extras left by owners are just icing on the cake. Well worth being a little bit out of town.

Lovely garden surrounding the property, especially at the rear. Hosts were lovely to talk to and very helpful. Everything you needed was catered for in your accommodation.

Just 3.4 km from New Plymouth city centre and the beach, 16 Havelock features free Wi-Fi, a tour desk and a communal lounge area with beautiful views of the ocean and Mount Taranaki. The host Brad is extremely nice and helpful, was really doing everything in his power to make my stay the best it can be. Excellent breakfast with freshly baked bread and everything felt so clean and luxurious even when it’s just the homiest of homes
