Received a warm welcome by the owners. The room was well maintained with great facilities. The farm itself was amazing.

Part of a larger house, Frankie & Hugh's is a renovated, self-contained apartment situated in Ohakune, just a 20-minute drive from the Turoa ski field on Mount Ruapehu. Frankie and Hugh's felt like home away from home. Marlene and Wayne were great host and made every effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We found the property clean, spacious and well maintained. The breakfast was good and we very much enjoyed our stay at the property.

Excellent hosts, good beds. Plenty of space to relax. The host went out of their way to give me a gluten free breakfast.

Fabulous accommodation with superior bathroom and facilities. Fantastic breakfast offerings and the staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them.

Free breakfast, free WiFi and free parking are all included at The River Lodge, offering spacious rooms with satellite TV. You can relax in the 6-person hot tub or in a hammock beside the river. My partner and I stayed at the River Lodge during our Christmas/ summer holiday and it was EXCEPTIONAL. Cleanest room we have ever stayed in. The hosts are fantastic, great vibes all round! The included breakfast was delicious and we had all the amenities we needed. Well worth the price and experience away from a chain hotel. The setting is so green, relaxing and warm. We slept so well as it was so quiet. Highly recommend you stay here if you are planning to hike the Tongariro Alpine Crossing - Dani can organise a direct shuttle to/from the track for you.

Manuka Lodge Bed and Breakfast is located just 10 minutes’ walk from the Ohakune town centre. The property features a jacuzzi, free WiFi and free on-site parking. I loved the modern, luxe feel of the entire property. Our room was very, very clean. The bed was comfy and we had all the amenities we needed. The hosts, Alan and Susie, were kind, engaging, and welcoming. They made us feel right at home!

Built in 1912 and offering budget, backpacker-style accommodation in a charming historic building, National Park Alpine Lodge features free WiFi in communal areas and both Netflix and satellite... Amazing place, great location and Joy is a fantastic host! Would highly recommended! Having a nice, clean single room at such a low price was very appreciated and the commun area is perfect to work or to meet other travelers. Big kitchen!
