Situated within 23 km of Westpac Stadium and 24 km of Beehive Parliament Building, Ātahu features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Porirua. Great location against the sea. Easy to go by train to wellington. The room was very nice, all new. The hostes did her best to give us good time.

Located in Wellington, near Wellington Botanical Gardens and Beehive Parliament Building, the historic Thorndon Heritage Listed Villa features a garden. Host greeted us on arrival and was able to recommend a restaurant for dinner that was within walking distance. Lodging was in a beautifully decorated, thoroughly modern, older home. There is a sitting room/den separate from the bedroom. Lodging was on a private second level of the house.

Featuring inner courtyard views, Sundari Retreat provides accommodation with an open-air bath, around 48 km from HortResearch. Nice and cozy atmosphere with a Balinese touch, lots of privacy, I had no problems reaching it by bus, but there is enough space if you come by car. Very considerate and friendly host, attention to detail, just a nice place in lovely Ōtaki. Also not far from shops, restaurants and supermarket.

Nice location not far from the beach, free to use hottub, big room with comfortable bed, free towels to use, nice breakfast.

Situated in Martinborough in the Wellington region, Swan House has a patio. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Reasonable stroll to the main square of town where there are many restaurants and a grocery store. Wineries are plentiful and close by and the area is flat so taking one of the Swan House loaner bikes is a nice way to explore. There is also a pedi-cab rental in the center of town. Exceptionally clean! Quiet for sleeping. Also very dark. Patio area is large and shared. “Double or Twin Room” (#3) is on the end and thus has lots of windows and only one shared wall. Owner’s welcome was genuine and appreciated. Continental breakfast included: coffee (instant or n espresso), teas (10 different varieties!), yogurt, cereal, toast (Honey, Marmite, Peanut Butter or 3 varieties of fruit jam), fruit cup, milk, and juice. It’s all in the room so you can eat what and when you want. No cooking facilities in the rooms but that was as expected/made clear in the listing. If saving money thru self-catering is your aim you can manage well enough with the provided continental breakfast, picnic lunch, and a take-away dinner.
