The property is centrally located, everything is walkable. The property itself is very clean, lovely garden. The rooms are very clean, with a fan and private bathroom. I think this is the nicest bathroom we have seen in South America. It was a comfortable and peaceful stay, safe. Nice place, we would come back again.

The hostel is in a beautiful traditional house at about 1/2 hour walk from the center (beware of motortaxi drivers who will tell you all sorts of lies to convince you to go to another hotel of their choice so they can get a commission). The room, living room and kitchen are new and well organized and equipped. Sarisa is a wonderful host who will help you in any way and can advise you about tours in the jungle, etc.

Amazon House Hostel is located in Iquitos, an 8-minute drive from the main square. The property features a terrace and offers free WiFi. The Amazon house is run by a family. They are all really nice and helpful. The tours they offer are safe and we could even change the program to our liking.
