Very comfy beds (best sleep I had during my Portugal trip), good showers, excellent location, very nice breakfast (they can provide vegan options if you ask in advance). All the staff was very friendly and kind, and made us feel welcome.

Situated in the centre of Coimbra, 300 metres from University of Coimbra, the historic Solar Antigo Luxury Coimbra features accommodation with free WiFi and a shared lounge. Wonderful experience. Great place, great location, such hospitable staff. Upon check-in, we recieved champaigne and cake. They brought us breakfast directly to the room and sent us off with cinamon cookies after the check out.

This was a spotless spacious quiet studio apartment about 5 minute walk from the old city. 24 hour parking was about the same distance away. We were warmly welcomed by our host and contacted again to see if we needed anything. Restaurants and a Fado spot were very near too. Coimbra is a lovely city with many sites to enjoy. Five stars for this place has to offer!
