Located near Serra da Estrela, this 250-year old manor house has historic furnishings and artistic accessories. Each themed room is a reminder of older way of life. Very friendly and historic atmosphere at the same time! We felt very welcome and like at home! The host was fabulous! We were here 16 years ago, this year and will stay again if travel in this area!

Featuring a garden and views of inner courtyard, Casa dos Andrades is a recently renovated guest house located in Belmonte, 37 km from Parque Natural Serra da Estrela. Cute little guest house close to the historic centre and with everything you need for a couple nights (or more) stay. Room and bathroom were spotless clean, comfy mattresses, a shared equipped kitchen and common room. Thanks to an oven in the living room and AC in the bedroom it was even during cold winter days and nights pleasently warm. And thank you to Marcela - the extremely welcoming and friendly owner!

We came across this beautiful pension when we were looking for a place which is the closest to Serra da Estrela. The host gave us a warm welcome and our expectations were exceeded after arriving at this beautiful and lovely Quinta. Every detail about the interior in the entire pension made us feel cozy and welcoming there. We really enjoyed our stay there and the host was such a lovely and friendly local who really tries everything to make her guests feel like home. Every single morning she provided us with an enriched best breakfast buffet and the food was always fresh and clean. She didn't hesitate a single bit about being asked for anything and she even made the effort to store my birthday cake in her own fridge which we brought with us all the way to our destination. She even got out of her way to arrange with me and my fiancé a little birthday breakfast with our cake. We can't thank her enough for her support and help during our entire stay. We both really enjoyed our chats with her and we also appreciate her own recommendations about some places very much which turned out to be hidden local gems to us. We both really enjoyed our stay in that Quinta and we really highly recommend this place to anyone who plans a trip to Serra da Estrela.

A great stay, you would not believe how good can a night stay be. Newly furnished room very clean and spacious. The staff were very polite and helpful, and finally, a delicious breakfast served with a good atmosphere.

The view from the room and terrace was exceptional! House is placed on the hill so you can see all the valley (very beautiful), not the neighbor buildings. Owners were very nice, they gave a lot of advises and instructions where to go and what to do. The breakfast was prefect, a lot of various dishes, local cheeses and jams. There is also a museum in the hotel on mountaineering topic. We definitely recommend this place and have the plans to come back again.

The quinta is stunning and incredible value for money. They also offered the best breakfast we had on our Portugal trip. Staff are very friendly.
