Nice breakfast in local friendly bakery (brush up on your French!). We didn't need it but there was sufficient private parking at property and nice balcony. Regua is good base for exploring Douro region. Lidl closeby.

It had such a cute vibe to it. The decoration, the cleanliness and warming appearance made our trip so much better. The owner of this beautiful house was extremely welcoming and very kind to me and my family and she made us feel so special. Thank you Eva for recommending us great places to eat out and local attractions to visit. Location is quiet and so peaceful. Loved everything about this trip. We will definitely want to come back some day soooon!!!! 🤗

This place exceed everything I could have hoped for. I came for the view but Maarten’s hospitality and good cheer made us want to come back again and again. When we arrived, he greeted us with a glass of wine from his own property and told us about the region. He gave us many recommendations about where to eat and what to see. The breakfasts were delicious each day and we even had a dinner on the terrace overlooking a beautiful sunset. I hope I can go back some day!

Everything was absolutely perfect, the location with an amazing view, the lovely house itself and the outstanding service provided by the team! The value for money is excellent and I have for sure felt privileged to spend some time in such an exceptional environment!

The staff (reception, housekeeping, and the cook) all received us with warm hospitality. The breakfast (home made pastries, regional charcuterie, made to order eggs)were delicious. The gated parking area was secure and easy to access.

We wanted quite and romantic place, out of the city place but close enough to drive by car. This place is located 20-25 minutes from the Sabrosa/Pinhao. The stay was amazing! The room was spacious enough and we had a big window facing the valley. The sunset and the morning views are incredible there. And because of the isolated location it so quite there. Except the room there is also a place outside in the property to sit and enjoy the wine and the views. The host gave us a taste of their own wine and port and we also asked for the breakfast (additional price). Wow, you definitely must have it! Aurora made us a wonderful breakfast. Everything on the table came from their own garden. And the view from the balcony (where we ate) is amazing.

This is a very comfortable big room in the town centre of Vila Real, near restaurants, the river, and stores. Perfect if you want a quiet space as well. The room is big, and the mattress is very good. Because the rooms are on the top floor it's very quiet during the evening, you don't hear any noise from the streets.
