Situated in an amazing landscape we enjoyed great views in the early morning before the clouds began to rise. Heated pool outside and a great open air kitchen with a coffee machine ready to use. Apartment was spacious and really well equipped.

The owner is a very nice lady. Not far from the accommodation is very nice local restaurant with nice food. It was bad for us that the lady doesn't speak English and we don't speak French :-(. Nevertheless, we agreed on everything that was needed. Breakfast is rich and varied, but you have to be able to choose ;-) - we initially did not understand the system. You are choosing 1 piece of cheese, for example, not 1 portion :-). The rooms are quite large, but for three people with backpacks it is so so. We were lucky that no one was accommodated in the other rooms, and we could use the common areas with the kitchen.

The bed was super cozy with think blankets, a lovely view into the mountains and the bathroom was sparkling clean with a hot shower. Despite my lack of French, the lady greeted me warmheartedly and tried her best to communicate over breakfast. It was absolutely lovely and adorable. I'll definitely will be back. This place is worth every penny to get an authentic Réunion mountain experience.

We had towels, blankets and even soap for the shower. The breakfast was good and we had good company during our stay. We can recommend this gîte for a hiking trip.
