Situated in Tūjān in the Gabes region, Dar Fatma Toujane features accommodation with free private parking. This guest house provides a terrace. The guest house has family rooms. Fathi welcomed us to his home and his family as If we were part of it. The project he is trying to develop in Toujane is very beautiful and it is inspiring to see how they live and see the life. He showed us around the village and although it wasn't in our plans to visit it, it was definitely worth the time! The house is beautiful and authentic and you will be more than comfortable in this strange yet amazing room. And the food they cook is homemade and delicious! True Tunisian food. I suggest everyone to go see this place and meet him, his family and his amazing friend Musa, who's soul is definitely a young and beautiful one. Hope to see you all again!

Dar Ayed Tamezret features a garden, bar, barbecue facilities and shared lounge in Tamezret. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Amazing place, everything was perfect, but the most incredible aspect is the staff: this place is made and managed with love, care and grace. Wonderful food at dinner. Just go there, you will be happy!

Maison d'hôtes DAR DRISS is situated in Matmata. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. It s a perfect place for visiting Matmata and make trips to Sahara or other berber villages. It s clean, nice rooms, confortable and Jamal &Rabia are the perfect host and very helpful with everything we needed. They give us good advise on what to visit and also Jamel was our guide to Sahara.

Located in Tamezret in the Gabes region, Auberge de Tamezret features a patio. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge. This is by far one of the most special places we’ve been to. I read a review where one said it was worth the 500 km detour from Tunis, I’ll give you a better one: it’s worth a 4000 km detour from Amsterdam! The setting, the views, the amazing rooms, the village itself, the location, the hospitality and company and above all, the delicious dinner and breakfast. It was perfect from start to finish. Offering inner courtyard views, Au Trait d'Union Tijma Matmata in Matmata offers accommodation, a garden and a terrace. We loved the atmosphere, the dinner was spectacular and the unexpected bonus was the dark sky offering an amazing view of the milky way and dozens of constellations which you normally do not see.
