Once we arrived we took a little boat to the floating house and were blessed with a stunning view of the Dal lake and the mountains in the background. Ibrahim and his family welcomed us very friendly. We didn’t have to worry about anything. Boat trips, money exchange, included breakfast or home cooked dinner in kashmiri style, everything was taken care of. In the evening Ibrahim told us the history of Kashmir and its people. An arranged boat took us to floating markets giving us the opportunity to see and purchase amazing handmade crafting. Ibrahims care was more than we could hope for. Met Mr Younis owner of the Houseboat and it was really a pleasure. He was kind and he treated us like family members.. Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay . All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. Good serving Quality Food. Tasty Food and Service was really wonderful. Especially a server named Khursheed , Danish , Ganie , Polite, Calm, Respectful and Fast in response. This is the best and my first choice. Pasadona Houseboat is one of the best house boat in kashmir valley. Most of the travel agent stay their clients in this houseboat.

A good location for a relaxing getaway in Srinagar, Green Paradise Houseboat - Centrally Heated is a boat surrounded by views of the lake. Beautiful floating garden and hill view location. Food is exceptional (Sajadh the chef ), Shikara ride every day is wonderful experience ( Firoz the rider also wonderful singer). Owner ( Sheik ji) of boat house who is very caring and has very good connections to make the whole kashmir trip go very smooth. Central heated is one very good option and makes the stay most comfortable even in winter.

I had a wonderful stay at Tashkand houseboat during winter season in January 2023. Musa, the houseboat owner, is very helpful and provide very good service. Dinner at Tashkand was our best dining in Kashmir as it's fresh meat, homemade, and no MSG. If you stay here I recommend trying 1 dining at his place. The place is clean and tidy. There's towels and amenities provided. There s no heater in the bedroom but it's replaced with warmed electric blanket which works very well to keep you warm at night, especially in winter. There are free shikara ride across to main road if you paid for shikara ride trip the first or second day. It's a special deal that the houseboat made with shikara riders so you will get the best deal and save money if you get shikara trip. It was the memorable, affordable house boat price.
