Next door is the owner's room and she is a wonderful host and leaves you to have full privacy. There is a kitchen with utensils, fridge and microwave. Wifi was excellent. The room had a super comfortable huge bed, a desk, and a huge closet, and tv. The room locks from inside, not outside, but you don't need the lock really and all my things were safe. Outside is already the heart of Madrid, 2min walk to either Gran Via or Chueco subway stations, and just a couple steps from the apartment, a bus stop is also directly outside.

I had one overnight in Madrid and was flying out early the next day. I have usually stayed in airport hotels, but its horrible, especially with kids, so decided to try something new. This was 15 min away with taxi, super close and easy to get there, and a whole other experience. we stayed in one of the little cabins, it had a little kitchen which was great for me as I have a baby. there was a park for kids to play in. and just in general it was a beautiful place. Staff were also excellent, so friendly and so helpful !
