We had a little incident where we visited Rome and our car was broken into and a lot of our luggage was stolen and we ended up staying the night at the police station in Rome but when we arrived the next day back at the property and it was past our checkout time the receptionist was kind enough to let us stay and take rest and did not charge us extra, in total we stayed there for an extra half a day.
