Offering a garden and sea view, Joy Camping & Rooms is situated in Haad Rin, 200 metres from Haad Rin Nai Beach and 1.5 km from Haad Rin Nok Beach. We had booked an alternative accommodation for the night as we were going to the Full Moon Party. As it turns out, this accommodation had been sold to us is in error, and didn't exist. We were now in a bit of a situation as there was very little accommodation left on the island at 7pm! We found Joy Camping and Rooms, and booked a tent for the night. When we arrived, Amit the host asked why we booked so late on such a busy day. We told him, and he was angry we had been scammed, so upgraded us free of charge to a room with air con and private bathroom. He also talked us through what to expect at the party and how to enjoy it the best and safest way. Finally, he gave us his mobile number and said we could call him if we needed any help in the night. The following day we went to pay for our extras (Pringles!) and he was not available. His wife was amazingly friendly, and even invited us into their home for coffee. Overall, Amit was an amazing host. 100% would recommend.
