Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.

Despite the size, they are very clean and inviting. The staff members - Friendly and polite but also exceptionally helpful, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process.

And it's surrounded by so many good places to eat! Staff were super friendly. Capsules were a good size and the pillow and blanket was very comfortable. Mattress a bit firm but overall tolerable. Its also high enough up that you don't hear the city noise. I'll definitely stay here next time.
