Location was great. Breakfast was beyond our expectations, if you are a breakfast person, add it into your payment plan. Our view was great even our window is at the corner of room. Our child loved the room because of bunk bed for sure. We could not use courtyard because of cold weather but I am sure it will be gorgeous at summer.

FAQs about hotels in Bruges

Picture Postcard Perfect

Bruges is a picture perfect medieval city that will charm you with its distinctive, century-old houses, plentiful canals and city walls. The famous 13th-century Belfry offers the opportunity to watch the cobbled market place, the Grote Markt, below while 47 bells call out to the city every 15-minutes. While you’re in the Grote Markt you can take a ride in one of the horse-drawn carriages around the city.

Many interesting artefacts can be found in the churches of Bruges, a Michelangelo statue is housed in the Church of Our Lady and the Basilica of the Holy Blood contains a vial of blood reportedly from Jesus Christ. Other museums include the Groeninge Museum which includes works of art spanning 6 centuries.

Belgium cuisine is famous worldwide and the cafes of Bruges offer an inviting retreat from the cooler climate. Brewery De Halve Maan explains the process behind the beer which washes down the world-class fries, chocolate and mussels found all over the city.

Bruges is easily reached from the Brussel-Zuid train station or the Brussels Airport. From a romantic suite to an apartment for a group of friends, Booking.com will make sure your stay in Bruges is a memorable one.

    One of my favorite and most romantic cities in Europe. I love it, this was not my first time and I hope I will be back soon. This small town has lots of great places to eat, Michelin star restaurants, shopping . Town filled with history. Very easy to get around, walkable , don’t need a car. We loved the Canal Boat trip most informative.

    We loved the Canal Boat trip most informative. The Historium was well worth a visit and very informative it was also very well done I would say a must to do. The Architecture is amazing in the old Town and every little street was gorgeous with the Cookie Cutter Fairyland houses everywhere. Was not dissapointed and people were friendly and when we got lost very helpful. Would love to go back and explore some more and maybe take a trip to Damme from there. We had a great Flemish Stew at a lovely Italian Restaurant near the Apartment. On our last night we went to Delaneys Hotel which was great and the food goregous. Lovely atmosphere and lovely staff. We walked everywhere as that was easy {got lost too which was ok as well}

    There is so much to see, As a traveler from North America...

    There is so much to see, As a traveler from North America being in Europe it is even more overwhelming. Brugge seems to to have well preserved and updated the best of the past. If I could have started again I would have made the bust tour first rather than last. This would have made it easier to get the most out of your visit. With the radial street layout it is difficult maintaining bearings and the bus tour would help with landmarking.

    This is my favorite city in the world!

    This is my favorite city in the world! Beautiful city center with a wide array of cafes, bars, and restaurants. Wonderful art and history museums. Climb the belfry; you'll be glad you did! Walking around town is very easy. There are many pet and family friendly hotels in or near the city center. Plenty of parking garages (always space at the train station if you don't mind walking back into town). Try Bones for great ribs. The Trappiste Bar for a huge beer selection. Delaney's Irish Pub for good pub food. De Haalve Maan brewery has great food and great beer! Schedule a walking tour to learn about the city and get off the beaten path!

    Bruges has a charm all of its own.

    Bruges has a charm all of its own. Stepping into the historic city centre felt like stepping into a fairytale from a bygone era. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the Blood Church, a stunning architectural masterpiece with a unique blend of Gothic and Baroque styles creating an atmosphere that is both solemn and breathtaking. We explored the city by boat, gliding along the picturesque canals, we were treated to views of charming bridges, quaint cobblestone streets and centuries-old buildings. It was a perfect way to soak up the beauty of Bruges whilst learning about its fascinating past from a very knowledgeable guide who clearly had a passion for brewing! The Salvador Dali Museum offered a captivating journey into the surreal world of one of the greatest artists of the 20th century. The collection of Dali's works showcased his genius and eccentricity, leaving me in awe of his surrealistic vision and untethered imagination. Climbing the main church tower with its majestic bells was one of the highlights of our visit - (save up some energy for the climb). The panoramic views from the top were simply breathtaking, providing a bird's-eye perspective of Bruges and its surrounding countryside. It was a moment of serenity and peaceful reflection. Bruges, a city of timeless beauty, rich cultural heritage and warm hospitality makes it a must see destination.

    The hotel is located in the city centre, a few minutes walk from all the attractions Bruges has to offer. Our room was freshly re-decorated which is certainly a plus, but it becomes a problem when the smell of the paint is still very strong and there is no aeration possible. Also the lights in the room didn't work (except for in the bathroom), which wasn't necessarily a problem since the days are long in May, but still not what you expect for the price paid. Staff was very concerned and tried to solve the issue but with no success

    The hotel was absolutely beautiful, spotless and in a fantastic location. Our host Veronique was charming and so helpful and knowledgeable about the best places to visit including local restaurants. The breakfast each morning was delicious with plenty of choice and fresh orange juice brought to our table. We found the hotel online by chance but it is certainly a hidden gem and we will recommend to anyone visiting Bruges. Veronique made our stay one we will never forget.

    Location is fantastic. Steps from the center of everything. 2 streets away from a super market if you want to get snacks(small fridge in room), bottled drinks, etc (although the hotel provided bottled water every day which was REALLY appreciated in the heatwave!). The mattress was the best one of all the places I stayed in Europe (4 different hotels). great night sleep. staff was very kind, mailing postcards and getting us any information we needed. The hotel itself was nice and the beds were comfortable enough, but what really made the stay was the awesome shower water pressure and the excellent cleaning staff who kept our room looking and smelling great. Really an awesome experience, especially for the price. Also, the hotel was directly behind the Bruges Belfry which made for a very cool and unique experience walking to and from the city center, directly through the belfry.

    A truly fabulous place to stay in Bruges. Tibo, the canal suite was absolutely perfect accommodation; spacious, comfortable and with everything we needed. The bath was also a bonus, as they become increasingly hard to find in hotels. Anna 9 is well located in a peaceful area on the canal but close to the old centre. Perfect location in the heart of Bruges. The lovely receptionist recommended (and booked) a Flemish restaurant around the corner for us (Diligence) which turned out to be the best meal we’ve ever had in Belgium! We enjoyed a drink at the hotel bar when returned from a post-dinner stroll around Bruges - pure bliss. Our room was very clean and fresh feeling. We had a wonderful night’s sleep.
