Old town has a wonderful large square with good restaurants. Old town is small alleyways clean and busy and lots of shops. People are great and restaurant service was perfect. Sorry the Huy Fort itself is badly maintained with trees growing out the wall cracks and broken cable car. The main roads of Huy such as the N90 have overgrown verges and weed and trash everwere. It’s obvious the road verges gets have not been tidied up for months.

We also appreciated the kindness of the staff, the good breakfast, stable WiFi and air conditioning both in common areas and private rooms. The cleaning of the room was accurate and the room was very large (possibly we got a free upgrade to a comfort room) with a nice corner window. The easy parking, with access to a free and private parking area.

The room was very comfortable. And the host went out of his way to make me feel at home. I went to Arabelle Meirlaen's restaurant because it was recommended on the hotel's website. I arrived by bicycle, so the host w offered me a ride to the restaurant. A perfect combination.

The apartment was very clean and beautifully furnished, close to all amenities. Comfortable and relaxing, although it says no internet, we found the WiFi on arrival. Would recommend staying here.
