General: Beautiful architecture, with great service and amazing food. Hotel provided a free transport to and from the Mutianyu Great Wall. Highly recommended to walk along the Great Wall and to sit the toboggan down. For those who enjoy hiking they should try hiking up from Bei Gou village where the Brickyard Retreat is located to the beginning of the Jiankou part of the Great Wall. Service: The concierge and the restaurant staff were all very friendly and eager to serve. They created a very warm and comfortable environment for our stay. Food: We were amazed by the breakfast every day, which served both western and Chinese staples. All the ingredients were fresh and the cooking was excellent. Special mention to the wedges, hash browns and sweet potato fries that were nicely crisp on the outside whilst being moist on the inside. They served freshly cooked traditional dumplings and Rou Jia Mo as well as fresh handmade Chinese paos, and they were all excellent. These are just some examples. Room: We stayed in the Stone Forest villa and the rooms were comfortable. Heating worked well and there was also a fireplace. Especially loved the architecture.

My stay at CMYK Stoneyards was absolutely wonderful, from start to finish. The house is beautiful, the surrounding nature is stunning, and the food is the freshest and most delicious I have eaten in China. This place is a little paradise, the owner has done an incredible job at designing the spaces and the staff is super friendly. Big thank you to Marina for her warm welcome and support during my stay. Everything was great!!! We loved our rooms (super quiet, clan and well equipped, with hair dryer, slippers, shower gel, shampoo, towels, etc.) and the rest of the accomodation (well furnished and with a super nice rooftop where we had refreshing beers after climbing the Great Wall). Also the position of the Hotel is great: super close to cable car entrance (both the one leasing to watchtower n. 14 and the smaller one taking to watchtower n. 11). But the best part was having the chance to spend time with the owner’s family: she is a great chef and good english speaker (she cooked for us one of the best dinner we had in China and she gave us some suggestions for our visit to the Great Wall), her husband was super nice and drove us to the Airport after our stay (while listening to chinese music that we loved) and their 10years old child was so nice and spent some time with us during our little apetizer on the rooftop 😍 They were simply lovely and super kind and helpful ❤️ Thank you so much, hope we’ll keep in touch! We’ll recommend your Hotel to everyone willing to visit the Great Wall! 😊

Flower Yard is close to the Mutianyu Great Wall. The breakfast was amazing. Owner Angel prepared a lot food for us for breakfast, fried eggs, different kinds of fruits, fried pumpkin, toast, butter, jam, fried dumping and fresh ground coffee. The room was so good, bed was so comfortable. There is a terrace on the second floor with views of the mountains in the distance. The air was so fresh. I loved to stay here.

The decoration of every place; restaurant, garden and rooms is so cools, make you feel en peace. Even when nobody speaks english they always looked for a way to make them self understood and always solve my questions, they were so kind and helpful. The food in the restaurant is delicious and prices are very reazonable. The place is in a nice village one hour away from Beijing and close to the best viewpoint I have ever seen of the great wall, simply fantastic.
