Hotel looks beautiful from the outside but the interior lacks some updates. Bedrooms are quite small and basic.

Greta is an amazing host. Located with beautiful views of the countryside and red roofed tops of homes and the village. Village is stunning beautiful, tiny, small alleyways, pubs, creperies, and outdoor seating in the village.
B&B is a picturesque, 300 yr old home with adorable outdoor seating to relax. Indoors is quaint and welcoming with vintage and personal touches. Only 3 bedrooms makes it feel cozy and comfy. We had the 2 HUGE bedrooms/suites on the second floor, which included everything you could possibly need as well as a good size fridge and coffee/tea maker. Large modern bathroom, comfy bed and clean throughout. Sit back in your room and gaze out the windows over the rooftops and listen to the birds and owls.
Featuring garden views, Maison d hôtes Casa Sana in Pillac offers accommodations, pool with a view, a garden, a bar, barbecue facilities, and a shared lounge.

Our hosts were very attentive and generous. The room was spotless. The breakfast is excellent with home made marmalade and a great choice of food. The room was lovely, nicely decorated and very comfortable.

Very picturesque village in lovely countryside. Built on a hill so be prepared to walk up steep slopes to the village square and to the monolithic church. Some pretty little ateliers and artisan shops.

Aubeterre is a lovely village but be prepared for stinging calf muscles as it goes from the river to the village centre at the top of a steep hill.
Got a map from the tourist centre near the top cap park and it really is worth walking the red tourist route, fantastic views across the valley from numerous vantage points.
Remember to take time to go down to the river, we took a canoe out for an hour and it was great. well worth it for the princely sum of 7 euro's, love this place.
Had a great meal at the Taverna restaurant, best to book to ensure you get a place as it was packed, and what a meal, really good quality, loved it here.

Gorgeous little provincial town between Bordeaux and Bergerac. Great for a couple of nights relaxation. Surrounded by stunning countryside, the town was charming and easy to wander around. Sadly, like most of France, the food was a little lack lustre but perfectly alright.
The riverside was a great place to cool off in the heat of the summer sun.

A beautiful historic town with plenty of hills.
A beautiful historic town with plenty of hills. The town was tranquil and relaxing. The Hotel de France was a surprising and delightful. We had the plat de jour in which each course was perfect... tasty, fresh and a joy. The staff were helpful and friendly… despite being the last in the restaurant we were not rushed at all. The town has several other lovely restaurants but this one caught us of guard as we did not expect the level of service and quality of food. a real gem.
The town itself is charming and quiet... perfect for a relaxing few days away.

Situated in a very pretty village with lovely views and walks, and a central square with a range of cafés. There were some very nice and some expensive restaurants in the village.
The hotel was very friendly with a lovely sun terrace and nice pool.
There was also lake swimming nearby so something for all tastes.
A tasty and pretty comprehensive continental breakfast
Beautiful traditional hotel set in a beautiful traditional village. Very clean, good facilities especially for myself as I am disabled. The food was very good and we had a selection of different dishes for dinner. The breakfast was good but limited ie: prepared fruit would have been nice. Nico was very friendly, efficient and attentive.
A very pretty stylish hotel.
Likes: The staff, the room, the dining experience, the dining room, and free parking plus a great location.
I am mega fussy and easily disappointed, this was not disappointing. Pretty as a picture and shabby chic. Loved it. The village is tiny but well worth a visit, put this on your list to do.
No. 5 is a very special place. The location is excellent, in a quiet street but right in the middle of Aubeterre-sur-Dronne. The house is amazing - a lovely old structure beautifully restored and decorated. The owner has really made sure that you have everything you could possibly need to make your stay perfect.
They are young couple starting out. The hotel is a great location - they got badly hit my COVID. Great value for money. and they are both charming but a bit to do on upgrading facilities. But they deserve every chance and we wish them the best.
the pool was great. the hotel itself (exteriors) is stunning. the car park is accessible and it’s close to the river beach.
the breakfast on the first morning was incredible, the pastries, bread and jams were excellent.
