Beauvais is a small town located 80 km north of Paris, in the French region of Picardy. Though its ancient origins and quaint atmosphere, the city has only recently become popular due to its airport. The Paris Beauvais-Tillé Airport is the gateway to Paris for most low-cost carriers, which makes the hotels in town a popular choice for travellers.
The city was inhabited by Gallic tribes, and it was known as Caesaromagus by the Romans. After being destroyed by barbarian attacks, it became the capital of the Belgic tribe of the Bellovaci, and started to being known as Bellovacus. During the next centuries a powerful Catholic clergy emerged, and a fine textile industry was developed.
St Peter’s Cathedral and the National Tapestry Gallery are a must. The 16th-century Episcopal Palace was partly built using ancient Gallic-Roman fortifications. Canada Lake is outside the centre, and offers natural surroundings and water sports facilities.
Whether you’re searching for a cheap lodge on your way to or from Paris, or want a modern hotel in Beauvais to explore this part of France, Booking.com offers a wide range of accommodation in the area.

Beauvais is a lovely place the cathedral is stunning .
Beauvais is a lovely place the cathedral is stunning . It was very quiet but I don't know if that was because of the time we were there. I found some of the people very arrogant when visiting cafés was ignored a few times or just dismissed as we couldn't speak French. Although some were very nice it only takes a few to give a bad example. We had a lovely meal at le Touco restaurant and the staff were really helpful. We also used Au Beaurau most nights for happy hour between 17 hrs to 20hrs nice staff .

I stayed overnight in beauvais en route to the airport so had a morning to spend there. It's a lovely little town with some medieval streets, but the main attraction was the cathedral which despite being unfinished for me was spectacular.

We stayed one night in Beauvais and could have stayed longer. In the 1500’s the cathedral was the tallest structure in the world and is still impressive. Next door, the Museum Oise in the old Bishop’s Palace is free and worth a visit.

COULD NOT STAY! BED BUGS WERE ACTUALLY CRAWLING ON THE BED.
COULD NOT STAY! BED BUGS WERE ACTUALLY CRAWLING ON THE BED. We took pics and videos and left! We stayed at the airport and slept in chairs until our flight the next morning! DISGUSTING! It won't let me upload a video. I even have video of the guys at the front desk telling me there is nothing they can do except give me another room.

Airport is to avoid at all costs.
Airport is to avoid at all costs. It's a trap if going somewhere else without having to go to Paris to change bus/train. If decided to stay in Beauvais, last bus to Beauvais from airport is 20.20. The town is nice, great cathedral, nice bistros.
This hotel was really accessible. It was close to many restaurants and shops.
This hotel was ideal for us due to being close to Paris Beauvais Airport.
It was nice and quiet and the family room we had, was amazing! An upstairs to the kids bed with a small door to protect them from falling. They loved it. I booked the same day and requested a cot. They replied promptly saying it was fine. When we got there, the cot was in the room ready for us.
It was very good! We were there for one night before leaving for the airport the next day, we stayed right before Xmas holidays so we were able to see the "marché de Noël" right next block.
The apartment is located right next to shops, groceries and bakeries, everything is easily accessible and the bus to get to the airport is super close as well.
The apartment is lovely, spacious and cozy with everything you need for a short stay.
It's within walking distance of the airport. It took us somewhere between 25-30 minutes to walk to the hotel. The staff were very friendly. There is also a bus stop that's 3-5 minutes away so transportation is readily available. The hotel room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We fell asleep quickly and felt well rested in the morning. I would stay here again. Highly recommend.
Very ideal location if you have to take a flight in the morning at the airport of Paris-Beauvais. They even have a microwave, so you can eat warm; and it is just in front of a giant Auchan hypermarket that closes at 21:00. It costs only 1 euro by bus to go at the airport. And staff were super friendly +++ :) We will definitely come back again :)
Breakfast was good, typical for France. Location perfect for using the train into Paris, which was very civilised . If I wasn’t keen on using the train would probably use the airport bus into Paris. Hotel public areas had a very groovy vibe. Staff friendly and always ready to help. Room furnished well and beds very comfortable.
The man working the reception was so kind and friendly. He made us feel very welcome. He also arranged an airport taxi for our family of six with a prompt and friendly driver. The location was perfect for exploring the city center. We stayed in a family room with beds for six at very reasonable price.
We spent only one night after arriving late at the airport but everything was great. The host was very friendly and gave us instructions how to get to the property and also to the train station on the next day. The room was big and clean and the breakfast was very good.
If you want to visit Beauvais the location is great - in the city center, 10 minutes to the railway station, 5-10 minutes to the city bus stops that take you to the BVA airport. Very friendly staff. Reasonable breakfast for the money paid.
This home was a convenient taxi ride from the Beauvais airport. It is spacious and comfortable and filled with character. It is a short walk to groceries and other amenities, as well as to the train station.
Hotel is miles and miles away from the airport. A taxi driver at Beauvais airport wldnt take me so i ended up getting 2 buses and walking loads, It's really far away. Cant be classed as an airport hotel.
A basic but clean and functional hotel for a night before or after a flight from Beauvais airport which is twelve minutes by car. Very friendly staff in case of need for help at the check-in.
We had a night in Beauvais before flight early in the morning. The hotel was great for the purpose - 5 min from the bus stop, in the heart of the city, the host was very kind and helpful.
Price is really affordable . Owner is flexible. The site is located very close to the railway station, you can take a bus to the airport or a train to Paris from there.
Very close to the airport but it is quiet, we did not hear the planes. Some of the Paris restaurants could deliver the food to the location, it's good in the evening.
Close to beauvais airport, only 10 mins by shuttle. buses start at 4 am. 4 euro each for shuttle and bus stop right outside hotel. Great for early morning flight
