We didn't eat at the hotel, so can't comment on the food. Also, again we didn't use it but in the morning there was a basket of fresh donuts and fruit out for guests to pick up on their way out which was generous. I can't fault the hotel on the whole - it had everything we needed, plenty of radiators for wet equipment, boot room, shower always hot, nice toiletries, pool, sauna, hammam, hot tub, gym, fusbol, pool, bar etc. It's just not what I'm used to. Great location and amazing mountain views. Staff are amazing - nothing is too much trouble.

Loved the mountain biking trails.
Loved the mountain biking trails. Liked the artisan village of Venosc & the walk to the waterfall passing by goats on the way.
I took a day trip to La Barade. The scenery & flora were incredible. Well worth the trip! In the past I saw Chamois & Bouquetin but not this year.
Standard French Ski resort - everything is overpriced.
I really liked The Spot restaurant which serves excellent food at a reasonable cost.
Unfortunately the glacier was closed due to not enough snow. The mountains are a major construction site in summer time with a replacement Jandri Lift system being built. The Valley Blanche side was also full of bulldozers, diggers & earth moving equipment - adjusting the scenery some of it coming into contact with the trail systems. All bike trails above mid mountain were closed on the glacier side which meant that it was not possible to ride from the Glacier down to Venosc. One lift that needs an upgrade is the Mot de Lans chairlift which is pre-historic for Les 2 Alps. I would guess that this was to mitigate the risk of bikes & construction equipment coming into contact which is a safety consideration.
We enjoyed a swim in the semi-natural lake which was refreshing after a day on the trails. The luge was fun for a one-off run!
Plenty of things to amuse & if you have a multi-day lift ticket then you can use the lift pass at Alpe D'huez.

Great skiing and snowboarding for intermediates, if your a complete beginner you may want to come back when you have the hang of things. Lots of blue runs and some good red. Guaranteed snow is always a bonus, and the piste patrol keep an eye on everyone.
The toilet facilities on the mountain (especially on Le Crete, beginners area) were worse than the pits at a festival (yuk!) - LDA really need to sort this out, it stopped many people from eating in the area.
On the plus the town is a busy working town, lots of locals and tourists which gives it a great vibe. You can choose to grab a takeaway from one of the many on offer and have a cosy night in or you can party to 5am, but a big shout out to those who chose to party, they were very quiet on the way home, so very few disturbed nights.

The ski facilities are not well run.
The ski facilities are not well run. Long queues and a lot of lost time. A great deal of blue slopes makes the location more suitable to less experie nced skiers. Restaurants are typical. One cannot expect anything particular. They are ok.

Les2Alpes - good for a skiing holiday, Village 1800 great as all the cars are beneath all the facilities so it feels like a car-free zone. The lift system is quite extensive, so easy to get round the resort and all the runs.
It looks exciting for a summer mountain bike holiday (not tested, we were skiing).
Excellent location, right in the centre of the ski resort while away from the noise of bars, restaurants and the main busy road traffic, delicious food, free shuttle to the nearby ski lifts, ski room with heating shelve for ski boots, on site free parking, every day cleaning service swimming pool and sauna (albeit both very small), table tennis. If you are after an authentic French experience with almost Michelin star restaurant, this is the place to stay in the oldest and one of the largest ski resorts in the Alps!
The staff were very courteous and friendly and the spa facilities were just perfect after a day on the slopes.
The hotel had a classic skiing holiday decor, very unique in its way but wouldn’t have wanted it to be any different. The hotel provide a shuttle service back and forth to the 2 ski lifts which made everything so much easier, specially wanting to get back asap at the end of the afternoon to have a swim and a sauna.
We would recommend this hotel to anyone!
The Odalys Residence Ours Blanc is conveniently located, it’s just 100 metres away from the Diablo telesiege lift and the Diable bus stop and ski pass office. Also within a five minute walk there are a good selection of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. It is a quiet peaceful area of Les Deux Alpes.
The self catering apartments are spacious, clean and well appointed providing comfortable relaxing accommodation in which to rest after a long day out skiing..
Incredible chalet, only a few minutes walk from the main ski lift. Clean, comfortable, attention to detail in each room was exceptional. Indoor pool and sauna was a great treat after a day on the slopes. Audrey, the chalet owner, was fantastic - always on hand for any help or advice regarding our stay. Quite a steep slope leading up to the chalet, which can be quite challenging if you're walking back from Apres Ski or a meal, but nothing insurmountable
- it was near the center and ski lift jandri
- good price
- clean
- personel responsive - we reported that the bathtub drain was clogged and we need a heater and they resolved it
- good comunication on email and phone before and during the stay
- nice view
- ski depozit space on ground floor
The studio is very clean and warm. The shower cabin and the toilet are modern and flawlessly clean. High quality bed sheets and towels are provided. Studio's ground floor location, short distance from the ski lift and the ski locker chest on the private terrace are perfect for skiers.
the build quality of the chalet was exceptional, the lay out and size of rooms was excellent and very clean.
Audrey the manager was very helpful and always available, plus she organised the ski passes and hire shop (including a discount), which saved time and a lot of hassle
The cost and location was perfect. only a short walk to the ski lifts and right near the bars and restaurants for the evening. Val was an amazing and friendly host and went above and beyond to look after us. Also a great breakfast in the morning!
The hotel has many lovely nice touches such as freshly baked cakes each afternoon and available teas and coffees for guests to help themselves throughout the day. It has a calm and happy vibe which was perfect for our family ski holiday.
Very nice location, good facilities. Kitchen had all appliances needed. Spa area with pool and sauna was nice to have after a day of snowboarding. Beds are comfortable. We had also a ski locker, enough space for 4 snowboards and boots.
we were at the low season, right after skiing season, we were extremely satisfied with the staff and breakfast, everything went smooth and we were treated with a smile, the beds were very comfy and the view is spectacular.
Location is great. After leaving a locker room there is only one stairs and you are directly on the Village lift for Cretes sector. If you are looking for hotel near ski lift this is definately one for you.
We couldn’t have been happier about our stay. The rooms were big, super clean, had everything we needed, and the hospitality of the hotel owner and staff was incredible. Highly recommend.
I really liked the position of the hotel, the courtesy and availability of the staff, and the comfort of the bed and the main services I used (bar, skilockers).
Location was perfect, just across the street is the Belle Etoile ski lift. Christophe is an excellent host, great communication and very helpful and kind.
