In the 24 hours we had, we visited the cathedral, Joan of Arc’s church and the Musée de Beaux Arts, all really interesting. Had a lovely meal in a Paul’s, a very traditional restaurant by the cathedral.

Rouen is a most attractive town with wonderful gothic and timber framed buildings. Extremely walkable everywhere. Lots of fun speciality shops, decent groceries and good restaurants. Lively with lots of sidewalk cafe people watching. Viking river cruise boats stop here and during the mid-day you will see big cruise boat tours coming from Le Harve. The train station is very tidy, helpful and convenient.

Our last visit was 10 years ago and Rouen has changed.
Our last visit was 10 years ago and Rouen has changed. The charming pedestrian street to the Horloge is peppered with American fast-food joints and the bodies of the homeless sleeping under the arches. It certainly detracts from the historic city of Jeanne d'Arc.

Stunning city with beautiful architecture.
Stunning city with beautiful architecture. Easy to park and to get around. Plenty of pedestrian streets. Highly recommend a visit to the cathedral - free entry and open quite late. The Sunday market was amazing - a combination of food stalls, clothing, antiques and books. Could happily have spent a couple of hours there. The city also has a great selection of independent shops and of course lots of cafes and restaurants.. Well worth a visit

There were very many historical buildings and churches in Rouen - it is not just an industrial town. We had a one night stay on our way further south on a motoring holiday, but will happily visit again. It is within easy reach of London.
A very convenient location - very close to the city centre where most important attractions are situated. It's also about 100 meters from the Old Market of Rouen which is not only a famous historical place but where you can find a supermarket, lots of bars and restaurants and a convenient car parking. Our rooms where very nice, with antic elements, which was charming. The staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast - ok, usual hotel breakfast.
The staff were exceptionally helpful. As we had never been to Rouen before all of the advice we were given on what to do and how to get around was excellent. We were upgraded to a larger room, this is always nice. Breakfast included was more than adequate. For me with a gluten intolerance, I was catered for, however, I did give advanced notice. A good idea if you are in this situation.
It was the best accommodation I had in France - clean, stylish, modern, very well designed and equipped with everything you might need. It is situated in the very heart of Rouen (about 3 minutes walk from the Rouen Cathedral). The hosts are very welcoming and helpful! I highly recommend this apartment for those who value comfort and style!
Good parking facilities, easy check in. The hotel is nicely decorated. The room was nicely appointed for a budget hotel ( slippers, toiletries), The bathroom was very clean -toilet brush provided. The beds were comfortable, air con. The breakfast was simple but tasted great- enough choice. Staff efficient and friendly.
Hotel is in the city centre, perfectly situated for seeing all the nice places. The room wasn't too big, but the view to Palais de Justice was very beautiful. The hotel itself is in an old Normandy style building. Parking system with Parking Palais de Justice was a good addition to hotel's service and worked fine.
Good location, loads to do in Rouen. Hotel is undergoing refurbishment of the main entrance but our room was in need of renewal. The bathroom was tatty with cracked floor tiles and poor grouting in the shower area, the wall hook was too loose for a robe to hang on. This made the room price difficult to justify
The location was exceptional, very close to everything that you might want to see in Rouen. Generally very quiet but I think that was because the hotel was nearly empty. On my first night I heard noise until 1am but I don’t think the people above were doing anything particularly noisy, just talking normally.
Reception staff extremely helpful.Bed very comfortable.Perfect location for travel through France.Very secure parking.Great for motorways. Our 4th time staying at this hotel and it's great for visiting Rouen and your onward journey either to or from Calais. Will definitely stay here again.👍
Very friendly staff, 10mins walk in to the historical centre and 2mins from the river front with lots of lovely bars / restaurants. Perfect for a stop over on travelling to South West France. Rouen is a lovely, old town to walk around, tall spires and good shopping.
Our first two nights in France could not have been better. The hotel staff was extremely helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was amazing. Close to the heart of Rouen adjacent to Notre Dame cathedral, we could not have chosen a better place.
It was spotless and exquisitely decorated with great attention to detail. AND the breakfast was really good and satisfying, it had everything from pastures to eggs, cheese, ham, cereal, fresh fruit, which is unusual for hotels in France!
A beautiful hotel in the center a very nice new decorated room a very comfortable bed .
Breakfast was very good and the restaurant for dining had excellent food. This hotel was one of our best choices in France!
It was lovely to stay here. The apartment is in the centre of Rouen, there is pretty close to facilities kind of shops, restaurants, museums. Special thanks for the carpark, it was necessary in the busy area.
This hotel was exceptional. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Rouen and an easy walk to restaurants, shopping, the cathedral, and museums. It was very clean and modern.
The staff were terrific and the location great. The room was sparse and Hôtel quite shabby. But it was extremely reasonable. Breakfast was just okay. Room was very small.
