The rooms were comfortable and the bed was to our liking. We booked in for evening meal and breakfast and enjoyed both. The service and staff were first class. The choice for breakfast was good whilst the choice for evening meal was limited. However they were both very enjoyable.

A small, quiet resort without being stuffy. There are lots of good restaurants and there are so many seafood options. We can spend our time freely. Recommended for those who want to spend a relaxing time or walking, hiking as there are rare sightseeing place. It is a favorite town that I like to visit every few years.

Nice uncrowded beach getaway.
Nice uncrowded beach getaway. Good place to base out of as its close to Biarritz and San Sebastien. After visiting most of the Basque Coast St. Jean de Luz was nice place to come back to as it was a very relaxed atmosphere. The town had very nice shops and an attractive square with dining all around.

I have stayed here before which is why I chose to stay here...
I have stayed here before which is why I chose to stay here this time. the hotel is immaculatly clean, has plenty of free parking onsite and is pet friendly, although that was not a requirement for me on this trip.
The gentleman on the reception was friendly and helpful, My limited French was matched by his limited English but we managed to understand eachother with good humour thrown in.
The hotel offers a modest selection of choices for breakfast and is perfectly adequate for most peoples needs, if you need snacks there is a vending machine in the foyer that has hot & cold drinks as well as sweets, biscuits and crisps. My room was very clean and comfortable, it had plenty of wall sockets for using or charging electricals, my only small criticism would be that the lighting was a little dim which made some tasks a little difficult that required more light but this should not really impact on most guests. The hotel although close to a busy road did not suffer from any road noise at all, the bed and bedding was comfortable and warm, the room had an AC and inverter unit but it was not necessary for me to use it so cannot comment on how good it is. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and I would always choose to use it whenever Im passing through on this route, it offers very good value for money in my opinion

We were greeted by Celine who was very welcoming. She spoke exceptional English and gave us lots of information about the surrounding area.
The accommodation itself is basic but in a good location, right next to the Centre and near the beach. Parking is available with some free spaces at the front. We were lucky enough to get one.
The apartment felt like a hostel, very basic. We had to make up all our beds and strip them down upon departure. It was not overly clean and the kitchen facilities were limited.
I wouldn't stay here again.
Property is stunning, the surroundings are breathless and so is the beach view. The two Silvias at the reception desk were courteous, helpful and friendly. The only person we found unfriendly was our sever on the patio, Batiste, he didn’t seem to want to be there serving…very unfriendly and rude, I had to have a gentleman help me open a bottle…. Overall, the friendly people made our stay very pleasant. Great rooms, nesspresso coffee, toiletries, a 5 star hotel 🥰🥰
This was the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in in years - the bed, pillows, duvet all perfect. The walk-in shower was roomy and the towels large and soft. It is in a perfect location in the old town a few steps to the beach, and 5 minutes walk to the port. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our hostess - friendly, warm and helpful.
The location is fantastic and all facilities were of the highest quality. The staff, particularly on the front desk, were extremely helpful and could not have been nicer to us.
The spa facilities are good with some stunning beach views.
Parking is under the hotel with direct access by lift.
Great location. Very clean comfortable beds. Very helpful and responsive staff spoke English, French and Spanish. Parking very close by for 20 euros a night. Hôtel was very flexible with a late check out which we very much appreciated. Thank you! Looking forward to returning.
The owners of the hotel were great. The Breakfast was excellent, lots of choices, great coffee. Don’t miss the traditional Basque cake. Perfect location to explore. Garage Parking nearby. Comfortable bed. Honestly, couldn’t ask for more!!!! Perfect
we loved the location and the ambiance of the hotel. The room was huge and clean and the bathroom was nice. The owner/staff were extremely friendly. I would recommend this place if you aren’t looking for a swanky hotel and want to be close to the beach.
Great location (close to beach, port, restaurants, shopping, and transportation) in the heart of the historic district. Very safe, comfortable and clean hotel. Manager was very friendly and helpful. Wonderful experience!
it’s very well situated in a quiet street very near the beach and the commercial area. It’s a small hotel and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. There was a kettle with coffee and tea.
We enjoyed our stay. The flat was clean, well furnished and well equipped, in centre ville and near the beach, train and bus stations - great for carless tourists.
The hotel is near the motorway to the border of Spain. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was perfect for overnight stop, very clean and super comfy bed.
