The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a good choice of breakfast items. Comfy beds, huge rooms with plenty of space. We were on a wine tour so found the hotel to be excellent and having their own wine tasting and cellar in the centre of the region. We all had a very enjoyable stay.

Lovely place to stay.
Lovely place to stay. With close proximity to Sancerre it is convenient for wine tourism as well as natural scenery. The restaurant Le Bord De Loire was spectacular. Food, service and local wine selection were top notch! Hotel De La Loire is a gem with views and charming, clean rooms.Lauren

The room was clean and well presented, the bed being very comfortable. The wifi connection was good. Walks in the evening are very pleasant along the river and around the boat yard. Not too far off the motorway, allowing a better stop that the regular chain hotels based alongside the motorways. There is a good bakers within a 2 minute walk, which opens at 07.00 should you wish to buy breakfast and get-on-the-road early.

We were interested in wines in Sancerre, Tracy and Pouilly. The hotel is also ideal for cycling tours - there were cyclists staying there when we were there. It is very easy to find, right on the river and with a very good restaurant across the road. Room was very comfortable and breakfast good.
