We chose the location as a suitable stopping point on a journey from Bergerac to Calais, rather than any specific attraction of Vierzon. It is a fairly typical French provincial town, with no special attractions of its own, and has perhaps seen better times. However the host explained that it is a good base for visiting more significant towns in the area, such as Bourges. We weren't there long enough to explore the area.

Only one pillow, asked for another several times, eventually got a small one with no case. Hairdryer was supposed to be available but not in room. Asked several times but it never appeared. Vierzon is an old industrial town which is a little tired and I was not sure how safe I felt. The tractor museum was excellent with keen friendly staff. I would not wish to spend many days in Vierzon but the hotel was good and we did not have time to explore the out of town attractions.

Hotel situated about a kilometre off the motorway, so exceptionally easy access. Reception staff are there from early morning to 22.00 hours. Key access and door code if after 22.00h. Restaurant on site in different building within hotel garden, with outdoor seating. Parking free. Breakfast is self-service and Covid-aware with staff on hand to advise. We use Vierzon as an over stop on the way back from Spain, It is working town but over the last few years they have been making an effort to smarten the place up , the hotel we use is 250mtrs away from bars and restaurants and has free under ground parking, perfect.

a good stop over town. in the centre of France .plenty of petrol stations and supermarkets. fair choice of easy ,budget restaurants too. ideal for one night.i was also happy with the parking, right outside our room as we have a sports car and I'm fussy where I park it .this town is also on the route with fewer toll roads compared with LeMans/Tours. we were only staying over night so did not have time to explore the townDavidUnited Kingdom
