I loved the size of the room and the complimentary robes & slippers. The view was also amazing - we were in a sea front privileged room. The location of the hotel was great. Plenty round about. The breakfast was also really great, we were pleasantly surprised.

The town is not what it once was, but as someone born and bred in Ayr I have nothing to dislike about it. Loads of good places to stay and to eat for all tastes and expenses. Very easy to navigate around the town by car, lots of buses at regular intervals. 3 great golf courses if that's your thing, loads of nice walks along the river, beach and if you find it Craigie Park (great for picnics).

Although there is a selection of the bars, restaurants and shops, the town centre is sadly lacking. Many, many empty shops. Full of charity shops, nail bars and vape shops. Ayr used to be one of my favourite places. Sadly, unfortunately those days are long gone.

Not an awful lot to do especially for young people but Culzean Castle and Dumfries House worth a visit. We also enjoyed the Burns museum. Glasgow easy drive away. Ayr and other beaches would be great in warmer months . Best dinner was at Kirkton Inn, Dalrymple and best lunch at The Coo Shed

Ayr itself was a disappointment knowing how it was a number of years ago and how I is today, beggars dirty Main Street so many shops vacant and in disrepair
Outside the town is still as I remember clean and beautiful. You can’t beat the Ayrshire countryside.
We stayed here when we visited Ayr for a wedding. With 2 small children, we find staying in hotels stressful and this place was amazing! Competitively priced and well furnished- it had everything we needed. Clean and safe-we had no issues with the children being there. They loved being able to see the sea from the balcony! Great communication beforehand and we liked that there was a reserved parking space for us. Thanks so much guys and I'm sure you'll see us again!
Location close to sea front and town centre was ideal. Friendly staff made our stay very pleasant. Though booked in for bed and breakfast the food was excellent and there was enough choice that we ate dinner in the hotel every night. The hotel was in the process of changing its menu during our stay and the new menu was financially a better deal. Fine weather meant we could make use of the secluded garden at the back of the hotel.
The apartment is spacious with a lovely view. It's ideally located within easy reach of Ayr town centre and the beach.
There are two nice hotels nearby that are open to non-residents that serve good food and have a nice selection of drinks. There is also an Indian restaurant close by where we had a wonderful meal one evening.
The apartment has lovely grounds and is a true home from home.

I loved the size of the room and the complimentary robes & slippers. The view was also amazing - we were in a sea front privileged room. The location of the hotel was great. Plenty round about. The breakfast was also really great, we were pleasantly surprised.
Location of the property - on the grounds of Ayr Race Course with access to hotel guests. Rooms were modern and clean. Everything was well thought off while designing it. Bathroom was modern and clean. Breakfast was in Jockey club room. Nice spread and tasty.
The hotel is situated on the sea front, hotel was lovely and the staff where very friendly, I didn't have anything from the menu as my husband doesn't keep well and wasn't in the mood for breakfast, hopefully next time we are back we will try the menu
Excellent stopover stay. Arriving late at night, we were literally drawn into a local wedding party. Very comfortable, quiet and spacious room in adjacent wing next to historic main building. Good in-house cuisine in the hotel's own restaurant.
I've stayed here a few times before and it just feels warm and welcoming unlike a hotel. The owner, Margaret, is lovely and incredibly helpful.
Location is fantastic!!! 2 mins walk to train line and 15 min walk to Ayr Town centre.
Beautiful house in a stunning street. The breakfast was delicious, so many great choices, the location is perfect walking distance to the beach, and minutes to get to the Town centre, plenty shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants.
