We have stayed in this hotel on numerous occasions and have always enjoyed our stay..the staff are very friendly and helpful especially the man who takes the cases up to your room , he has a great sense of humour and is very funny. The rooms are always clean and tidy and beds have always been comfortable..in the room you will find a kettle with different types of tea, coffee and hot chocolate and a couple of small packets of biscuits ( which you don't always get in other hotels). There is an iron and ironing board so no need to worry about creased clothes and a safe to put any valuables in. There is a tv but why would you watch it when you are in such a vibrant city like Liverpool.

Not a nice place at all. Dirty & run down. We didn't stay & we found a hotel in a nicer area. We certainly wouldnt stay at the Trevelles. It was disgustingly filthy & run down. We paid for 2 nights but didn't stay longer than half an hour

As a whole I don't rate bottle if I'm honest, Liverpool is an amazing place a short walk or taxi drive away however we only stayed in bottle one night and basically rested our heads so basically thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would certainly visit again

We stayed in a converted office block which was lovely and clean,
however it is next to an awful pub.. we asked reception where the nearest place was to grab a quick bite to eat before the races and we were directed to The Merton ( a Wetherspoon Public house)
a dingy dirty place full of loud people and the food was awful.
I do not think the tables had been wiped down for weeks,
we asked the young girl to order us a taxi, she struggled to understand the English language but we overcame that and then she returned to say they are fully booked and no cars available - this was 6pm in the evening !
cant say anymore about Bootle as we attended Aintree came back and then went in to Liverpool for Breakfast

A very convenient ,value for money place to stay if you don’t want to pay Liverpool hotel prices as getting into the city was very cheap and quick about 15 minutes by train and an all day ticket costs only £4. Beaches are very close perfect for family.
The hosts were extremely helpful and very accommodating. They had wonderful tips for navigating the city, things to do, restaurants, and were great at communicating. It was a very quiet area a little outside of the center of the city, but not too far. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great and very clean. I would definitely stay here again if we ever make it back to Liverpool!
The breakfast was very good. Very nice persons and the food was really nice and tasteful. We need to leave the hotel very early to catch the ferry on time. So we couldn’t make it till the second breakfast. But they put some little bags with food and drinks in our hotelroom for the way back home.
My trip was a mix of work and pleasure. I stay in hotels a couple of nights a week for work, and this hands down was one of the best experiences I’ve had. The rooms were immaculate, the hosts were very friendly and it is one of the best nights sleep I’ve ever had away from home.
property and host were homely and welcoming everything was clean and well organised the breakfast in the morning was exceptional felt less of a hotel and more like being at home would stay here 1000% again
Even if it’s a small hotel with a pub the staff was customer oriented and very friendly. It was like they know you for ages. The room was very clean with outside bathrooms incredibly tidy
the hotel was spotlessly clean and the owner was very friendly and helpful.
the bed was very comfortable and the room was well furnished.
the price was very reasonable as well.
The hotel is in a great location, The welcome at reception was brilliant very welcoming, The room was spotless with everything you need for a perfect stay..
