I was only here for one night but it was a great hotel! The outside with all the scaffolding was off-putting at first but then you enter the hotel and it was cute, clean and very welcoming. After a week and half traveling around Scotland, it was nice to fall into the comfy bed!
In the old part of Glasgow, next door to the Glasgow Cathedral, this 19th century, Scottish Baronial-style building has been beautifully converted into a unique 8-bedroom hotel.

The aesthetic charm of this hotel and its rooms, along with the unparalleled views from the room windows made this place amazing. The bathroom was very well equipped and modern, and the soaking tub was a treat.

Great location with interesting views and fantastic access to walking trails. The rooms are nice and provide everything needed. The restaurant and bar are well stocked and comfortable. I will recommend to both my friends and family in the USA as well as my local family in Scotland.

The hotel was very nice. The restaurant prices were reasonable, as were the bar prices. The bar staff and waitresses were also friendly. The breakfast the next morning was also very good.
Easy check-in. Clean room. Comfy bed. Decent breakfast. I will think twice about taking my family here though...especially at weekends. there was a party playing very loud music until 4am. Quite disrespectful. Don't mind it going on until 1am but, most of the night?

Low level room as we had our 8 year old Yorkie with us.
Low level room as we had our 8 year old Yorkie with us. The room was spotless and the bed was great, we had an excellent couple of nights sleep. Anything we asked for we received and nothing was too much to ask. Room service was excellent and the wife being a Tea Lover required some extra milk which they did. Lovely food and awesome staff

No USB ports in the room, 2 plugs located under the TV which isn’t ideal when you pay to stay in a room you don’t want to sit on the chair attached to the charger.

We stayed in Chryston to be handy for visiting an elderly relative in Kirkintilloch- the hotel would also be very handy for Glasgow and other towns in the area as just off one of the main roads.
We did not see anything of Chryston or the immediate surroundings.

The Hotel was Clean, Modern, well decorated.
The Hotel was Clean, Modern, well decorated. Friendly, helpful staff. Dinner was excellent and breakfast lovely. Chryston itself doesnt have places of interest but does have this marvellous hotel.
We wanted a couple of days away to chill and the wife chose here because of the reviews and it turns out to be just what the reviews said.
A wedding was ongoing the first night but to be fair we hardly heard it and it didn’t put us of. Music must have been turned low after 10 pm as we never heard it. Great hotel and staff were very friendly and polite. Because of the wedding we opted for evening meal in our room .
This is a lovely property with fantastic decor.
we stay after a 7 hour journey from Birmingham. The parking on site and near ease from the motorway was definitely a plus point.
the staff were super friendly and helpful.
fantastic dinner and breakfast.
would highly recommend staying.

the level of detail in the rooms is excellent. definitely stay here! 100%. This was booked for a few of our employees and I actually received emails from those people who were staying, telling me to book this hotel again for more work in the area. honestly cannot fault it 5*
I was there midweek so it was a nice quiet location with no events. Breakfast was basic but tasted good. Near bus stop and train station. We stayed out here because it was an affordable option and liked the setting away from the downtown area.
Christine on the reception was lovely and super helpful she is an asset to the hotel.
Room was clean, bed was big, bathroom clean.
Parking was easily accessible outside the hotel.
