Nothing much was likable...room for solo traveler was depressing, cold and way over-priced. BREAKFAST NOT INCLUDED... FAIR breakfast buffet. Service poor. Room was small. Host was OK, staff ok, however, all seemed money grubbing. No warmth or anything resembling hospitality

Peter was absolutely wonderful. He gave us some tips on where to visit, how to get around and even offered to take us to one of the sights on his own time. The breakfast was more than generous. He checked in on us to ensure that we were well looked after, if we needed anything, etc. A quick 20 minute bus ride into the city centre, this location is will worth it!
The Loch Ness Country House Hotel offers excellent food and elegant rooms. It is a striking Georgian building in 6 acres of gardens, 1.9 mi from Inverness city center.
I came here for the Culloden battlefield and Cawdor Castle.
I came here for the Culloden battlefield and Cawdor Castle. The battlefield is a special and emotional experience, the visitor Centre is excellent.
Cawdor can be missed, but it was still special and rich with associations.
