The position in the town. Raj your Barman was particularly pleasant and helpful

Good price and great location 5mins walk from ferry terminal.
Rooms clean.
Meal times geared to bus party so ate elsewhere but on room only basis I would recommend.

Beautiful B&B, owners were so accomodating with lots of little thoughtful additions. They definitely have thought of everything you need to have a great stay
Thank you Drew & Alison.
Located in Dunoon and only 4.9 km from Benmore Botanic Garden, Clyde View B&B provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking.
Beautiful town with gorgeous scenery. The Castle Museum is well worth a visit as the staff are very knowledgeable and welcoming. The history of Dunoon is fascinating. The Lorne Inn is a great place to eat but there are plenty of other places too. Puck’s Glen with waterfall walk is nearby and the Botanic Garden is close by also. Dunoon is handy for the ferries to Gourock and the Isle of Bute.

I found Dunoon to be a pleasant and friendly town with all the amenities i needed. Cowal is a beautiful part of Scotland with tremendous opportunities for outdoor recreation. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys the outdoors, yet is close to Glasgow and its amenities.

A trip to Benmore gardens was worthwhile and the surrounding area is outstandingly beautiful. Dunoon it.self is beginning to feel a bit run down and neglected, very limited eating options at night even at the weekend where you strugle to find anywhere after 8pm still serving food apart from carry out food .

Dunoon is a lovely little town that needs to advertise its wares much more effectively. In particular opportunities for walking in the surrounding countryside. There is a reasonable range of shops and places to eat but opening times are too restricted to attract more tourists.

Castle House Museum Gardens are beautiful and well worth the hike up to the flagpole for the view.
Food and service at the Lorne Bar are excellent
St Ives Hotel has a beer garden worth checking out at weekends and right next to the water.
Easy to walk around.
Swallow cafe could do with some staff training the person serving ice cream had an attitude issue.
Based myself here for 2 nights whilst walking the Cowal Way. Prices for hotels en route were unaffordable for a solo walker.
Great location 5 minutes from the pier for ferries and buses.
Single room was warm, had hot drinks and a TV.
Ensuite small but functional
Very reasonable price for a single walker.
I don't normally eat at hotel restaurants but after the first night, decided it was so good value that I would eat there the second night.
Italian/Spanish menu - good sized tasty portios at a very reasonable price.
Gorgeous lodge, very clean and the area is lovely. Loved that it was dog friendly. We often stay in Dunoon to visit our family there and it was probably the nicest of places we have stayed at so far. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was pleasant, though the shower itself doesn’t have the best pressure.
The Whistlefield Inn was a wonderful place to stay in a beautiful location. The staff was friendly, helpful and accomodating in this historic inn. The rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable and the location lends itself to some great hikes and exploring the towns in the area. An extremely relaxing stay.
This family run b&b is in a wonderful location overlooking Holy Loch in Sandbank near Dunoon. The owners were friendly, and the full Scottish breakfast really tasty. The rooms were spotlessly clean with a good shower. We loved this accommodation and would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
Booked this property for 3 of our guys who were working in the area recently. Feedback from them was all good. So much so that they wanted to return the following week, unfortunately the property was fully booked. Good contact from the host prior to arrival.
Perfect stay
Exceptionally clean
Heating on in the main living area and very clear how to switch on radiators that were off in other rooms
Great location for the beach
The hosts were kind and more than happy to be contacted and answer any questions we had
Location.
One of the same friendly staff works here as works in the sister hotel, the Esplanade hotel which compared to this is exceptional.and the reason why I usually stay in the Esplanade but couldn't this time.
Given the cheap price I feel that the hotel was good. It's a basic hotel but they know it's not the Ritz and have priced it as such. It's located in a nice part of Dunoon with great views down the Firth of Clyde.
We had a really wonderful stay at the Park Hotel. The staff were so lovely, even changing our room to give us a seaview. We both thought the food was delicious, really enjoyable stay!
Great location and facilities, ideal for a break away and plenty of lovely walks around.
The caravan had all we needed and hosts were always available to answer any queries we had.
Traditional hotel next to the loch with great views from the rooms. Excellent bar and restaurant downstairs, good breakfast included. Staff were all very friendly and efficient.
Comfortable stay in this lovely characterful old hotel. Excellent position facing the lake. My room was upgraded. Good food. The quaint but steep staircase is memorable!
Superb location on the water with an excellent breakfast and comfortable bed. They have a nice bar area to enjoy an after dinner drink. We enjoyed our visit.
