I travelled alone. I'd never been here before. I liked that it wasn't over commercialised. Weather was amazing (October) There was everything that was needed at this resort. I.e. supermarkets. Lots of tavernas/eating places to pick from, I.e Farmers House, Golden Bay Hotel restaurant with stunning sunset views. 4 local beaches. An excursions train.. Good, regular bus service into Chania (21) Was literally, end of season, so tourists were clearly abit sparce, but not any of the hospitality in the restaurants. All accessible to the locality of this resort. I was happy with my choice of resort.

Close enough to Chania that we could drive in 20 minutes, quiet area and family friendly. The nearby beaches make this a great location to stop and rest and plan the remaining trip around the island particularly if you are visiting the west coast and central Crete.

Great area close t the city.
Great area close t the city. A great mix if you want the beach not to crowded and small but at the same time close to the ngihtlife of the Chania.
The 3 beaches are close to each other and a bit different between each other, so each of them is kind of particular. The beach is sandy and the water is transparent. One of the best we found on the island.

The various beaches are all very clean with enough space for those who don’t want a sun bed. The surrounding area is beautiful and it’s a 4Km walk along the coast to Chania. Busses also run frequently into town.
Fresh and contemporary room and outside areas. The staff (all of them, front office, restaurants and bar staff, kitchen staff, SPA) are an asset to Domes Zeen Chania. All staff were fantastic and it would be unfair to mention specific names in case I forget any names.
Outstanding service in par with Four Seasons Hotels. Every meal we had, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner was good quality, breakfast especially had a very good selection. SPA services by Marina were outstanding, we went for 5 treatments in total during our stay.
Excellent location, very close to THREE wonderful beaches and 15 min bus ride in to Chania city. Not even worth taking a taxi because it was so convineint taking the bus. The staff at the hotel were absolutely amazing, the room we stayed at was ok, nothing exciting. The breakfast was good, I wish there were a few more savory options instead of all the sweets there were. All in all, great vacation! The neighbourhood also felt safe and there were many great restaurants nearby so there was no need going to Chania every evening.
This is a wonderful small hotel with just about 15 rooms. Very nice healthy breakfast, pool. Even free yoga and dancing lessons are offered. The hotel owner talks to all guests and is very friendly. Everything is new and clean. The pool was even heated in October, very pleasant temperature. The location is wonderful - you have 4 beaches to choose from within 5 minute walk, many restaurants, and a small park full of pine trees, which is not usual in Crete - there are generally not so many trees.
- Very friendly staff who did their best to accommodate us.
- Clean apartment with good air conditioning.
- Daily housekeeping with clean towels.
- Decent restaurant for a “hotel restaurant” with friendly waitstaff
- Nice pool area at Stellina Royal which, at the time of our stay, was not busy at all (unlike the other 2 pools at Stellina Village). This made for some very relaxing times in what felt like a private pool. Pool towels were provided.
Great service, very helpful and friendly staff. The pool is huge and they serve a variety of food and snacks in the poolbar. The area is also great, close to Chania and bus-stop to Platanias. Short walk to the beach, but was quite windy when we visited. There is a supermarket and a beachbar nearby as well. The room and terrace was nice and we enjoyed our stay here. The hotel also has a lot of beautiful plants and flowers everywhere.
Fabulous location, lovely/friendly/hospitable staff, great location with immediate access to 4 lovely beaches. Some lovely restaurants around too & mini-market just outside. Fantastic cuisine at Talos. It was also a covid-safe hotel taking all necessary precautions which made way for an overall 10/10 stay here. For us it was just what we were looking for and loved it. Would definitely recommend.
Great location, close to supermarkets, beaches and bus stop for Chania.
Lovely pool area, some shade from the many olive trees.
Staff helpful and friendly.
Apartment and kitchen facilities good.
Effective air conditioning and a safe in room.
Quiet and peaceful at night.
Cleaned regularly, fresh sheets and towels.
Our second visit to Elea and our fourth to the Kato Daratso area
Vera and Giorgos are great hosts, always available for anything you may need! The appartement hotel is in a really great location: everything you need at 5mn walking distance (nice beach, restaurants, shops, main roads to other locations...) The area is really quiet, a wonderful sunset from our balcony every evening, nice pool area. A perfect place to visit a piece of Crete!
This place is AMAZING! We stayed here on our first ever visit to Chania and will 100% stay here again when we return to Crete. Fotini is a fantastic host (with some brilliant restaurant recommendations) and the location is perfect, only a short 30-minute walk along the lovely coastline to the old Venetian part of Chania. You HAVE to stay here!
The hosts were really nice and hospitable.Maria was very kind and gave us delicious homemade orange marmalade as a welcome gift.Giorgos helped us and printed out boarding passes which we needed the last day.Clean place in a good location near Chania. You need a car to explore the area and the amazing beaches in this part of Crete .
The location is good. 10 min walk to 2 beaches, 2 min to the bus stop to Chania. Renting a car helped us to see a lot more from Crete and Rena’s place was on a perfect spot to start our day trips. Rena and her father helped us to settle down, gave us good advice. They also provided us with a lot of treats, including raki.
Wonderful appartment! Clean, spacious, modern. George is friendly, generous with his guests and always willing to assist and counsel. A perfect place from which to explore Chania and the West of Crete. The area has restaurants and facilities close by for those days/nights in which one wishes to stay in the area.
Fantastic and very helpful staff! The whole team is very professional and service-oriented. The hotel is very close to the beach and has a beautiful pool. Hotel can also arrange tours to the main destinations in Crete - very convenient if you are not renting a car. All on all, 10 out of 10!
The host and his son were both very nice and approachable. The location is great close to restaurants, stores, bust stop and beaches. Beaches are nice - even in windy weather the see was ''calm''.
Great spot for relaxing and discovering Crete.
I stayed over for 1 night...I wish I could have stayed longer...this is a lovely clean and modern hotel..the staff were amazing and so welcoming..the breakfast is amazing too...will definitely be back again
Kind and friendly serviceminded people from Nireas hotel, Very clean, comfortable rooms and relax atmosphere for vacations at a near everything location. Looking forward to come back 💯🏆
