Delicious breakfast, interesting options. Location fantastic if you like a slow relaxed pace. Basking sharks circling in the water just under our window and steps and a path down to the coastline if you fancied a bit of rockpooling or getting closer to the basking sharks. Great little enclosed garden for games or family fun. There was a wedding booked in for Saturday and the capacity for full family togetherness was just brilliant, the openness and safety combined to make this quite a special find for those with children. And for those leaving the kids behind, it offered tranquility, wonderful views, a cliff walk, good pubs and if you time it right, a music gig at Sea Church 🤩

Ashlee Lodge is a short distance from the beautiful Garryvoe Beach. The area is full of things to do and places to visit.
The room was spacious, fresh, clean and homely. Comfortable bed, and no sounds from other rooms or guests. It was better than a hotel room.
The hostess is very welcoming.
Ballycotton is a lovely little village. The people are friendly and its fun visiting the different little pubs on the Main Street. The food at the Sea church restaurant was superb. The schooner tavern was the ideal accomodation for us with comfortable rooms with ensuite. The staff were lovely and the food was very nice particularly the full breakfast

It’s a remotely located, small seaside village with very few amenities so if you are looking for entertainment and nightlife, it’s probably not the place for you. But if you like coastal walks, tranquility, nature, peace and quiet- you will love Ballycotton!

The bed was huge and extra comfortable!
The bed was huge and extra comfortable! The room had a view on the ocean and this was simply amazing! Pity the restaurant in the hotel is closed during the week.. this could be said more explicitly while booking. But there are nice places to go to eat nearby, like Pier 26! The food was simply amazing!

Great village, stunning location, awesome bars.
Great village, stunning location, awesome bars. If you love running as I do then take your running gear and go on a stunning run - I did and I wish all my runs were as beautiful as the one I had last weekend.

The focus of the village is on the harbour.
The focus of the village is on the harbour. Cliff top walks and a good base from which to explore nearby villages and beaches. Cork is not so far away - only 30 minutes to Cobh well worth a day visiting heritage sites, exhibitions and museums.
Anna and Paddy were really helpful hosts and we loved staying at their B&B.
The room was lovely and spacious with a very comfortable bed.
Breakfast was gorgeous and very fresh!
The B&B is very close to Ballymaloe House and there are a number of local taxis that we could use to get back from the wedding we attended. It is also very easy to get to Ballycotton and Midleton from this house.
I would highly recommend that anyone looking to stay in this area stay in Sunville!
We has a great stay in a wonderful location with several options for bars and restaurants. We were a short walk from the cliffs and the pier as well. The option to crack the window for a glorious sea breeze made for a great night sleep. We had a wonderful time and the breakfast the next morning was just the perfect cherry on top!
The proprietors were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our stay included a great breakfast, served even on days when the pub/restaurant was not open. I lost our room key and the owner provided another - when I asked to pay for it, he simply said "it happens". Could not have been nicer, offered good suggestions as well.
This was such a fun spot to stay in Ballycotton! We happened to go when there wasn’t many food places open, but this was nice and central. It was right across the road from a good swimming place and also a couple of other pubs. It was really clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic!
Pat was a great host.....very welcoming, always positive; we missed meeting Anna ! Breakfast was fabulous, lot of space for parking, small pantry outside room was a great facility; so peaceful and beautiful and yet could reach other places to sightsee in 20--40 mins.... highly recommended
We loved everything: our room was perfect, quiet with a comfortable bed and great bedding.
The staff were amazing—- always going out if tbeir way to be helpful and enhance your stay. The restaurant needs no description—-wonderful food cooked with great love and care.
I have a long association with the hotel since before our wedding reception there over fifty years ago. We were both born in East Cork and Garryvoe was a frequent haunt. It is always good to revisit and revive the memories of "Happy Days".
Friendly and helpful staff, located perfectly for walks
and tours around Ballycotton. Room was clean and
completely sufficient for our short stay. Staff made sure
we could have dinner even though the restaurant was
booked well.
Beautiful hotel in a great location. Spacious Room for the family overlooking the water with a great shower & bathroom, very relaxing stay. Delicious breakfast & dinner, really enjoyed the swimming pool will be back.
Lovely family run B&B, ideally located in the heart of Ballycotton.
Friendly staff. The Breakfast was excellent and we ate in the bar the evening before and the food was first class
Nice spot for a family or group. Area is quiet Monday and Tuesday but gets busier later in the week.
