We really, liked Michael who helped us with our luggage and was very pleasant and friendly. - Very impressed with Farnham for employing people with special needs. We liked the spa, the pool, and the location of the hotel.
We were disappointed at little added extras not being there since our last visit and that the 2 restaurants did not deliver uniquely different dining experiences. We noticed the walkways were in the process of much-needed renovations.
We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

First class in every respect.
First class in every respect. The rooms, breakfast and facilities were excellent. Most of all the host gave a great welcome and tea in the living room. The converted Mill is a beautiful environment. As a descendant of Glangevlin's McGovern family the stay was full of the best in Cavan hospitality.

We didn't see much as we were there for christening.
We didn't see much as we were there for christening. However beautiful setting . Everything seemed so far away from each other . There is a little town which seemed nice. It is at least an hour and half drive from Dublin. We needed a taxi to get from hotel to Dublin to fly home which cost €280.00 so you need to be aware of that if your not driving yourself. Every person we met or spoke to were so friendly .

We were really surprised at how much there is to do in Cavan.
Lakes and trails a plenty and it’s very easy to head out to neighbouring counties too!
We found the restaurants we eat in to be of a really high standard.
We had a warm welcome and enjoyed our weekend stay in Toddy's Cottage. It's a lovely cottage just outside town with all the amenities we ever wanted for a weekend stop-over. The cottage has been refurbished properly and everything is clean and tidy. The cottage is located in a green setting and a calm corner of the country. Perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of the cities.
Greets from Belgium & Dublin.
Perfect location, a short walk across the golf course or along the road to the Farnham estate (where we were attending a wedding/playing golf).
The rooms are modern and comfortable, and the kitchen downstairs has all you need for a snack or breakfast.
Bridie is absolutely fantastic and couldn’t have made you feel more at home. Very kind and even dropped us at the estate when dressed up in wedding attire!
We liked everything about the house which was in a great location, all rooms were was very spacious and good facilities. Wifi connection was excellent. Our host Carmel/family were very helpful. We were not far from the venue of our friends party. We could walk down to Cavan Town but taxied back because it was uphill all the way.
We would certainly stay there again when we visit Cavan.
It was a great stay. Hotel is located in the very centre of Cavan and is an excellent base for short trips to likes of Cavan County Museum, Adventure Centre, Lough Oughter, Killykeen Forest Park and others. Food is brilliant and I really enjoyed the carvery on Sunday. Overall, I hope to visit again and would recommend to everyone.
Absolutely gorgeous cosy cottage! We felt at home from the minute we arrived and were so sad to leave. Lovely peaceful area that is so close to a little town called Ballinagh which has lovely places to eat (Tillies tea room is a must visit!!) and it's a short distance to Cavan town. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back!
Breakfast was delicious as always. I find the help yourself option efficient. The dinner in the hotel was lovely but a bit on the pricey side compared to Cavan town. Spa was lovely. Wonderful helpful staff. Would stay again.
Bridie and Mary are lovely people and couldn’t be more welcoming and friendly, very clean and comfortable room and house, highly recommend staying here. Very close to Farnham estate and Cavan town, ideal location.
Loved absolutely everything & everyone! Helen is such a warm, wonderful lady!! My family is from Ireland, specifically Cavan, so Helen’s location was everything I heard about my ancestors who grew up in Ireland.
The staff at reception were very pleasant, polite and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean.
The hotel itself was in an ideal location for the places we wanted to visit in and around County Cavan.
The owners couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. In fact it was the friendliest B&B I've ever been to. Loved the shared kitchen. The location was great for getting round Cavan. Walked into the town.
The staff of the Farnham Arms Hotel is always the friendliest and most accommodating! I love the breakfast and the fact that the hotel is in the heart of Cavan. Easy to park behind and get around the town.
The accomodation was spotless and very spacious. It was a 5 min walk to the hotel where we had full use of the facilities. Extremely good value for money and we had our own space to chill out.
Everything. This hotel never fails to please. The bed and bedroom is big and spacious. The breakfast is exceptional. the staff are very friendly and helpful and the spa is a lovely treat!
Lovely old restored building with great comfort within its walls. Extremely comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast.
Lovely quite rural location yet within easy reach of Cavan town.
