Great location, clean room, friendly & helpful staff.
Mitzpe Ramon is magical.
You can enjoy a different view depending on the time of day. Make sure you get to see the sunset on the promenade and watch the mountains change colors.
There are many trails - the easiest is to walk along the promenade.
If you want to hike, make sure you take plenty of water and a good trail map. You can get info at the visitors center - which is well worth visiting. They have a lovely light show exhibition that explains how this erosion crater "machtesh" was formed.
The crater is a geological wonder. It is also fun to see the ibexes (mountain goats) walking down the streets of the city.

Mitspe Ramon is a small town with a relaxed artistic atmosphere. Desert weather: cool at night hot and dry during daytime. Unique place for discovering stars, colorful rock formations, studying fossils. During winter you can view flash desert floods from a safe location. Great place if you want to spend time by yourself listening to the wind and staring at nature's wonders.

The natural desert scenery is amazing, especially from the cliff top where the Ramon Crater begins. Herds of gazelles stroll through the town. There are a few chic eateries e.g. in the Spice Quarter. We often eat at Mauna, in the main shopping centre: it's vegan, with a limited menu, but the food is delicious.
Driving In Mitzpe Ramon is easy, but most places are walkable. Remember, many shops are closed on Saturday/Jewish Holidays.

Mitzpe Ramon is a gem for nature lovers and nature photographers, especially if you like deserts of course. There are many spots to hike and visit, or having a stroll along the cliffs with stunning views.
If you just wanna rest or enjoying nightlife, there are some nice cafes and bars, for having a cappuccino by reading a book or going out for some live music.

Loved the stargazing in the crater with Ira the Starman- highly recommend this.
A visit to the Alpaca Farm and to Nana Vineyard were very enjoyable.
The visitor center presentation together with the Ilan Ramon exhibit had a huge emotional impact.
Artist Colony/local crafts shops in the "Industrial Zone" were amazing
A well balanced blend of activity, quiet and night life.
Car is a must for quick easy access to all sites.
Ultra and Levi's were our favorite restaurants.
Be sure to check hours and if reservations are needed for events
The hotel is small and cozy. There are no special facilities there except for a long corridor full of rooms and a small reception. Along the corridor there are nice seating areas with books about the area, which is really nice. The crew is really friendly and nice and the rooms are quite cozy and very clean.
The breakfast is served in the Tsukim restaurant which is located next to the visitor's center. Breakfast was quite good and the view from the restaurant is great. Service was also very good.
The room was very nice and clean, had a comfortable bed, and everything you need for a short stay is provided (basic kitchen utensils, extra towels, shampoo and bodywash etc.) The location is good, everything in Mitzpe Ramon is walking distance but there are buses as well. Probably a 10-15 mins walk to the town centre where supermarkets and many restaurants are. The host was very friendly and helpful, and quick to respond.
Very nice and clean. Room was just large enough. It is a very economical hotel. Coffee kiosk was always stocked with everything I needed.
This hotel is perfect for anyone on a budget but demands a clean and quiet room.
It was about a 15 minute walk to the visitor centre which was perfect. Our room had access to a shared balcony which was very nice.
Overall for the cost, I would rate it an 8.5.
A great opportunity to experience the desert and explore Ramon crater. It was very cool to stay in a traditional style husha and spend the night star gazing. We had one warm night in November to eat outdoors under the stars and another windier evening which we spent enjoying the vegetarian dinner and resting after a hot day of hiking. The included breakfast set us up really well for hiking.
The whole accomodation was equipped in a very nice, cosy and stylish way and the freshly preparated breakfast with homemade marmalades, humus, omelette etc. was really great! Also was our host, she was very friendly and showed us some nice opportunities for hiking in the crater. We would definitely book this hotel again. By the way, this time was our second time in this hotel already.
Very nice hotel in an arty neighborhood. The room was nicely decorated and spacious with a nice bathtub in the bathroom. Very clean. Breakfast was really nice in the morning. The place was quiet and relaxing. Location was great, walking distance to other places in town. We highly recommend this hotel to any travelers.
Really cool vibe. Full functional kitchen to use. Lots of space to sit inside the lounge area. Tents are very cute. Bathrooms good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location to everywhere else in Mitzpe Ramon. People social in the hostel and always happy to chat
I enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. I was also very happy and honoured to share Friday night dinner with the many young people who come stayed! The inn is located within walking distance of Ramon Crater which is spectacular!
This hotel is perfect. The location, the facilities, the tents. Amazing. The fires and the gatherings around it after hours are really fun. It's a completely different experience from what you have had anywhere.
Exceptional destination. Sunrise each morning on the hill on the farm, sunset on Ramon Crater, exceptional. Excellent restaurant in Mitzpe Ramon 8-minute drive. Don't miss this. Loads to do locally.
Ths staff was very kind. The hotel is amazing and clean.
Even after we checkout, we stayed at the hotel, and there are shower rooms to take shower before heading out.
Amazing experience
The hotel is a minute walk from the Mizpe Ramon Canyon, the suits are actually apartments with a kitchen, a normal fridge, a separate bathroom with a bathtub and a separate toilet.
New concept of hotel with no reception and no dining. We love that. Our stay was aimed to serve as base to hiking around ramon. And for that perpuse the hotel was perfect.
