TATA Coffee trail Properties are really worth visiting. Earlier couple of times I could not get accommodation and our visit was ultimately destined for this Christmas. Will definitely try to visit once again either this or other Coffee Trail Properties. AMA have managed well and online booking was hassle free. Gonikoppal is a small town with a bus stand.
Gonikoppal is a small town with a bus stand. If you are coming from Bangalore, then take any bus from Bangalore via Mysore towards Virajpet and get off at Gonikoppal. There are wonderful resorts in the estates from here. Ama Plantation Trails is a wonderful getaway from here. The town has a supermarket - Nilgiris, a restaurant - The Spice Rack, fresh fruit shops, local Coorgi/ kodava costume shops and some basic shopping for tourists. From Gonikoppal, you can travel towards Mangalore on the West and Kerala towards the South. There is a bypass road via Polibetta to reach Madikeri. Also Nagarhole Wild-life sanctuary is close-by.AAnonymousIndia
