A warm welcome. Small room for twin beds but bathroom was a good size with interesting shower.
We arrived late and left very early. We appreciated the 5am ride to the airport which was too far (for me) to walk with luggage.
It was close to airport. Room was overpriced for the accommodation. Breakfast we had to pay for but wish we would have just stopped at a gas station instead. The guy wears a chef jacket but only thing that was cooked was boiled eggs. Price for breakfast was too costly for what you get.
The room and bathroom was very clean and comfortable. We loved meeting the owner who welcomed us to the hotel. The room had an electric kettle, mugs, plates and silverware, which was exactly what we needed. The location was very quiet and it’s a short walk from a lake with a path around it. Would certainly recommend the hotel. Great value for the price! The only downside is that there are no stores or restaurants in the area so you have drive up to the town which is about 20-25min away.
Nice room, clean and inviting.
The owner is just a superb guy, and awesome cook.
The location is great if you want a place to see the Aurora Borealis, since the town is in the middle of nowhere. So it's pretty easy - If the weather conditions are in your favor - to find a spot without too much light pollution.
I was however not that fortunate. 😊
The hotel is also closely situated to both the Blue Lagoon (15 min) and the Volcano (20 min).
Rosa’s place is off the charts great. we felt just like at home. she has everything one could need in a rental villa in Iceland. it’s a very spacious property, 3 rooms, nice modern kitchen with most comfortable sofas in living and family rooms. the backyard patio is so huge and inviting as well but it was so cold (not surprised)
we recommended this property to so many people now. please do not miss this. what a great place!
We stayed for 3 nights. Great location close to volcano, airport and Reykjavik. Cozy room with a wonderful shared kitchen next door full of amenities including a large refrigerator/freezer and clothes washer. Lightening fast internet, too. Monika is the perfect hotel owner and provided invaluable help with Covid testing for return flight to USA and restaurant recommendations.
First off, the staff here is extremely helpful. The location is excellent as it affords quick access to Keflavik, Reykjavik and the volcano; all are within 30 minutes. Vogar is a quiet little town but I am growing quite fond of it. If you are looking for a great place to stay to see the volcano, I was extremely pleased with the 20 minute drive to the volcano.
Decent Hotel, was completely empty except me and another guest, not even the hotel owner present in the evening. and the town does not have any store nearby( within 15 minutes driving distance.
But hotel itself was clean and comfortable. Recommend if you are traveling with company and not alone.
Close to the Keflavik airport.
Adjustible ceiling light.
For the first time in Iceland we've finally spotted the mop in the room! So we were able to clean the bath floor from water after taking a shower.
The room was equipped with all you need for the comfort stay.
Friendly staff, enough parking, close to the airport and the blue lagoon and not to far from Reykjavik. Our flight arrived very late, we stayed here as all the airport hotels were full. Next day we continues to the blue lagoon and to do the golden circle.
Very good place to stay!
all the rooms and the kitchen is new, very clean and comfortable.
The woman that responsible to this palce reallt nice and helped us a lot with ideas to where to travel in the area.
It is highly recommended hotel!!!!!!!
It was very close to the airport, we needed a place to stay for one night since our flight had a delay of 12 hours. hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, rooms are not super luxury but were clean and had all we needed. Beds very comfy.
The hotel is in a good location close to the blue lagoon and Keflavik airport. Our room was comfortable, the bathroom was a good size and everything was clean and tidy. We would definitely stay here again, great value for money!
We were looking for a property close to the airport since we landed late. Just the right place. Clean and perfect if you are looking for something around the Keflavik area to crash for a night.
