Our stay was great. We had a room at the third floor (there is no elevator, but for us it wasn't a problem, we had just small luggage). It was warm and cosy in the room (quite dark though), during the summer it might be too warm but now in April it was good. The location was excellent, it was very close to Basilica di sant'Antonio di Padova and pleasant walk to city centre, we found parking on the street nearby without problems. The street is busy with cars and buses but it wasn't a problem for us and we had a good sleep. The staff was excellent, Sir at the reception was very kind and spoke English very well. We could leave our luggage for some time after check out and go to see Basilica. He also gave us an iron and ironing board. The breakfast was really good, big choice of savoury products which is not typical in Italy, we appreciated it a lot. We recommend Hotel Mignon.
Four Points by Sheraton Padova is less than a 10-minute drive from PadovaFiere convention centre, and right at the Padova Est exit of the A4 Milan-Venice motorway.

The hotel is situated "over" the autobahn, with all pros and cons of such location. THe hotel is quite old, needs renovation but the facilities are functioning well. THe personal was polite and professional. THere are a plenty of parkings there. The breakfast was good. The hotel is good to stay for one night while travel by car.

Academic and Artistic Greatness
An artistic gem, Padua (or Padova in Italian) seamlessly combines awe-inspiring heritage and a modern vibe. Counting Galileo among its former tutors, the University has the world’s oldest UNESCO World Heritage-listed botanical garden.
Across the road is huge Prato della Valle, a green square with a canal lined by 78 statues, and home to a Saturday market. A market is also held in squares near to Palazzo della Ragione whose multi-levelled arches and vaulted wooden ceiling are an impressive sight. Cobbled, porticoed streets lead to the finely-crafted Gran Loggia and clock tower.
Every church has incredible décor, but the most famous is Saint Anthony of Padua, boasting the bones of the saint, an impressive 7 cupolas and 4 cloisters. The square in front has a statue by Donatello. Padua Cathedral's simple exterior houses amazing frescoes inside the baptistery by Giotto, creator of the jewel in Padua’s crown – the Scrovegni Chapel. His 14th century frescoes there have been meticulously restored to be as vibrant as the day they were painted.
The closest airport is Venice Marco Polo, but before you head there from your Padua hotel, apartment or B&B take time to enjoy the narrow streets around Palazzo del Bò or the Jewish district.

Truly beautiful city full of history. the saying "Venice is beautiful and Padua is its sister" is true. To truly appreciate the beauty of the city I recommend the periods between April and May and never on weekends.

Beautiful city with plenty of culture and architectural landmarks. I would recommend it for anyone coming to Venice for its distance and relative affordability in comparison with the most tourist city of Veneto.

Padova is a fabulous city for people who like history, art, architecture, and culture. It is easy to move around the city on foot, and the city bus service is cheap, frequent, reliable and comfortable for places further out. The large student population makes for a very vibrant atmosphere, as do the outdoor markets in the piazzas.
The Scrovegni Chapel and Basilica of St Anthony are outstanding places to visit, but if you have time, tour the University. It is an inspiring experience to stand where giants of science, medicine and philosophy developed the ideas that shaped the world. Here you can see the lectern from which Galileo taught mathematics, and the world's first anatomy and dissection theatre, as well as lecture halls where the walls are covered with plaques commemorating famous alumni.

Recommend University Tour, Scrovegni Chapel, and the Basilica of St Anthony. Baptistery of the Duomo was just incredible. Renaissance architecture of the city is stunning.
Enjoyed the small bars for Aperitivo
I will stay for a longer period next time

Padua is a really handy and lovely place to stay in between Verona and Venice, so you can pay slighlty less for accomodation there and then take day trips to Verona (1 hr train ride away) or Venice (45 minutes away).
The food was, on average, much better and cheaper in padua than Venice.

We stayed in Padova only one night, arriving around 5 pm.
We stayed in Padova only one night, arriving around 5 pm. We found lots and lots of places that served sandwiches and coffee/beer/wine but, in contrast to Udine, we had a hard time finding restaurants with real food. I would not go back.
On my given trip to Italy, I stayed in three different hotels in Bologna, Padua, and Mestre-Venice; all three were more or less of the same level and price. Casa Battisti was far above any of the other two and it totally exceeded my expectations. The hostess was exceptionally welcoming, the breakfast was rich, and the room was hospital-like clean, airy, and full of daylight, the place is easy to find and close to major tourist and educational attractions Padua has to offer.
It is a medieval tower that was originally part of the old city wall which has been turned into a boutique hotel. Our room was very comfortable (great bed and a modern bathroom). The location is excellent . Just a short walk to the city center. The grounds are spacious and they have daily wine tastings (unfortunatelly we couldn’t do one as the sommelier was oyt sick). Breakfast is brought to your room and is more than adequate.
The hotel is located on a side street off the major piazzas, a little complicated to get to by car. I called the hotel, and they talked us through directions and got to hotel easily.
The room was a nice size, clean with plenty of drawer space and closet space.
The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful.
Breakfast was plentiful with nice choices.
Hotel is within walking distance of all the piazzas and shopping.
Everything was very good - our room, the breakfast, the breakfast room overlooking a small garden. We had a large, comfortable and immaculate room with a private terrace. The location in the university district is convenient to the train station and to the historic centre. We were meeting up with friends from Italy and much appreciated that the staff assigned us rooms (and terraces) that were side-by-side.
Great location in the center of Padua. Everything was at short walking distance. The suite was very comfortable but with a living room too big respect to the bedroom and the bathroom. Safebox and complimentary coffee&tea machine in the room. Unfortunately I had not time to use the complimentary small SPA. The breakfast was good but the choices were a bit limited, but this is usual for hotels in Italy.
Staying at Note di Piano was like staying in a frozen moment of a time in Italy.
The apartment was big. The windows were huge, and the family momentos and painting gave the property a personal feel.
The location is perfectly located.
Francesca was the perfect host. Very responsive.
Excellently managed hotel with a high cleanliness standard, very friendly and helpful employees. The continental breakfast offers everything you need to start into a great day. I will definitely return to Hotel Volta the next time I stay in Padova. Highly recommended.
The hotel in the center, very close to the Prato della Vale! Very polite and nice staff. Room with AC and amazing view on Basilica Sant’Agostino 😍 breakfast delicious! I definitely recommend it, will come back when visit Padova next time
Excellent location, public transport at the door and hotel right in the old Padova city. Parking with cost right at hotel👌 Hotel staff were courteous, very helpful and amazing👌❤️ Good breakfast. Beautiful hotel.
Very nice variety for breakfast. It was nice to have scrambled eggs and bacon again for breakfast. Other good variety of choices as well. Room was spacious. Hotel was clean, easy to get to, and friendly staff.
This might be a 3-star hotel, but service was 5-stars. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Spoke perfect English, helped us with our train tickets and attractions. Room was also very generously sized.
Location close to the center of Padova is superb, also the staff service. Breakfast was delicious and very versatile for a small hotel. Very clean room (big enough) and bathroom. A secure parking place.
Great location! Extremely peaceful and quiet. The most quiet place I have been to in all of Italy! It was really peaceful. Well equipped. Well maintained. Comfy bed.
Everything about the hotel was amazing. I've been to a lot of hotels in my trips (3-5 star hotels) and I've never seen toothbrush and toothpaste bathroom amenities.
