While it's evident that MIMATSUKAN 美松館 has seen better days, it still provided a comfortable stay. The hotel has an old-world charm, and though some areas show signs of wear, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, ensuring I had a good night's rest. The staff at MIMATSUKAN 美松館 were not only polite but also went out of their way to accommodate my needs, making my stay truly pleasant. The onsen, a highlight of the hotel, offered a relaxing experience despite the hotel's aged appearance, further demonstrating their commitment to providing a quality stay. Overall, MIMATSUKAN 美松館 offers a decent and restful experience for the price. The hotel is located in a great spot just at the base of a mountain. The hot spring water is refreshing. The room and meals were wonderful!! The private bath was nice to use but the public bath is great too! The small hot spring town is really nice to walk though. A nice lake is just a short drive up the mountain. Initial D was inspired from this mountain, there are many things related to it near by.
