Laos made me cry because of it’s beauty. You can’t wish more wonderful view that you have from this little cozy hotel. The old house in the best shape. The wood is shiny, the smell is very pleasant. You are in the heart of this amazing town and can get to everything by foot. Just lovely❤️

Stayed here 2 nights and extended 2 more. Very helpful manager Mr Zhang. Could rent a scooty and also have my tickets booked to Vang Vieng. Rooms on the first floor are clean and spacious. Bathroom is stocked with shampoo and body wash. Towels and water bottles provided daily. Breakfast is sumptuous and tasty. You get one dish, one drink, and a complimentary bowl of fruits.
Location is amazing. In a quiet lane tucked away from the night market lane. Easy to walk all over the town from here.

Very nice city with a town spirit. Burning season was hot but very good regarding air pollution and sight views, not crowded at all with great prices opportunities. Sunsets here are wonderful in any place and it´s ideal to walk to every place. Many free temples with monks living in them and markets very active with the best food. Chill mood but at the same time people from all over the world interacting with locals.

I just loved Luang Prabang.
I just loved Luang Prabang. The centre is a one in a million type place. Some people might dismiss it as touristy because there are so many guest houses and gift shops, but the shops are also wonderful shops and the glory of the place is that it is completely infused with spirituality and in particular Buddhism. One of the best things you could possibly do is to attend one of the numerous morning almsgiving ceremonies around 6 am. The food market in the centre of town is fantastic and the night market right beside it is just as good. Luang Prabang is an 11 out of 10 type of place .

Laung Prabang is easily reached from Vientiane by the China/Laos high-speed train - we made our booking through 12Go Asia - simple to book with e-tickets emailed back to you.
Note: Train tickets only go on sale 3 days before the day of travel and sell out quickly - no turning up on the day and hoping to buy a ticket like you can in the Western world - planning ahead and booking early is essential.
Also note that aerosols and liquid sprays are forbidden on the train (bags are x-rayed and manually searched on entering the train station) - no spray deodorants, perfumes or insect repellents - they will be confiscated!!

I loved the town of Luang Prabang!
I loved the town of Luang Prabang!
The town is just big enough to plenty of things to discover and see.
I suggest getting up early before 10 AM because it gets very hot after that. The town then becomes alive around 6PM, after the heat of the sun is gone.
I like renting a scooter to get around, but the town is easily walkable.
There are masses and masses of Chinese tourists, which can sometimes be disrespectful during the Alms Giving ceremony. I found many of them a bit disrespectful of the ceremony & turned it into a bit of a circus with cameras everywhere, shouting, talking, crossing in front of the monks. Sad. But it’s still a beautiful occasion to witness.

Luang Prabang has a unique feel, which is reflected in its status since 1995 as a UN World Heritage site. This means that the historic centre is being both preserved and renovated. The city is in a stunning location, set among mountains and at the confluence of two rivers, and has plenty of French colonial buildings. Every restaurant we went to served wonderful food, both Laotian and western, and had very friendly service. I will go back for a longer visit as soon as I can.
After weeks of 'normal' backpacking hotel we chose Madilao for a little more comfort. It was the best thing that we could have done to chill and relax. We also loved to be a little out of the centre of Luang Prabang (amazing city by the way).
Madilao is such a beautiful hotel and we enjoyed every minute of being there. It looks very amazing, the rooms are big and comfortable and the personal is super friendly and took care of all of our request accordingly.
A huge thank you to the Madilao hotel and all her staff.
This is a cute little place right next to the palace and the night market. Rooms are clean and comfy. This is in the old city part of Luang Prabang, so don't expect a modern hotel. In fact, it had a nice travel lodge old-world charm to it. So if you come with the right attitude, and appreciate the budget-friendly rates, you'll really enjoy the fact that it's right in the middle of all the action, and yet quiet enough to give you some rest in between all the sightseeing.
The Sunrise Garden House - Luang Prabang is an extremely comfortable and well-maintained hotel with a very friendly and competent staff. The upstairs room we had was well-furnished, with an excellent balcony overlooking the garden. The pool was wonderful; perfectly clean and long enough to swim laps for exercise. Breakfast was very satisfying, with Laotian and Western dishes on offer. The night market and morning markets were easy strolls.
Located overlooking the Mekong River very close to downtown Luang Prabang (a 10 minute walk). Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast sevice was exceptional and food choices were varied and food amounts were generous. All the staff went out of their way to kindly attend to the needs of each customer. A first class small hotel. Bravo. I will surely return to this hotel on another occasion.
Overall, I had a great experience at Cozy An Boutique Hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean and perfect to a few days in Luang Prabang. Good breakfast. Swimingpool available. Great location and close to night market and all great restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Luang Prabang.
The owner made me feel very welcomed and at home. He gave good advice on how to make the most of my time in Luang Prabang, and which parts of town to see. They had free bikes to use while traveling around the city which was very nice. The room is pretty standard, clean and airconditioned, but the owner made sure that the hotel stood out as one of the most welcoming stays I've had in Laos.
Very nice hotel for a great price Hotel Luang Prabang . I come back soon
+ Good location very near to the river front and walking distance to all tourist attraction areas in the old town. The facility is well maintained and clean. A good portion of breakfast with fruits and nice coffee.owner very good men , who runs the facility is very kind and helpful.
Gorgeous hotel right in the centre of Luang Prabang a stones throw away from the night market and plenty of restaurants. The room itself was large and comfortable with a spacious bathroom that was impeccably clean.
At the reception the staff are very friendly and through them you can book multiple things like taxis, day trips, motorbike hire.
- Hotel location is very central and can walk everywhere easily. Return to Luang Prabang. The staff were absolutely unbelievable and the young man who owned the hotel used to work together at the 24 hour reception,. Good breakfast, good coffee. So incredibly sweet and really kind and helpful. he's great.
I liked all.
Mr. Tom gave me all information about Luang Prabang.
They cleaned our every day and changed the towels every day.
Breakfast was enough and they have whole day tea, coffe and water. That hotel is in middle of the centre. I booked 3 nights but I extended more 3 nights.
Thank you Tom🙏
Clean and well-located, but the hotel's great value is the extraordinary work of the reception girl (Kim, I hope I'm spelling it right), who will do everything in her power to make you enjoy the beauty of Luang Prabang and its surroundings.
Thanks again for your tremendous hospitality, Kim.
Really enjoyed the spaces at the Jam, you could be social at the tables or relax by the pool. The staff were really helpful and it was so convenient to use bracelets as your room key. I recommend this place to all the other travels I meet who are heading to Luang Prabang in the future.
Clean and comfortable hotel in a quiet area with great host. Shower was large, good pressure, hot water. Lovely breakfast, loved the coffee. Was given a map upon arrival with suggestions to visit. Will be staying with them again soon.
The Breakfast was superb. Both the breakfast area and the food was great.
The hotel is located within walking distance of the main Luang Prabang attractions.
Our room was large, comfortable and quiet.
The staff were very friendly.
Absolutely perfect accommodation in Luang Prabang. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. The location of the hotel is in a quiet street, just a few steps from the night market and the main monuments. Siridel was a good choice.
Such an amazing, serene hotel in enclosed grounds a little outside the city. The staff were incredibly kind and Luang Prabang is a really enchanting place. We loved our stay and we were so sad to leave.
This place is amazing. Beautiful, clean, peaceful, the staff is extremely nice, I would stay here again without a doubt if I ever came again to Luang Prabang. And the breakfast is excellent!
