"We had an overall fantastic experience at the place, thoroughly enjoying our time surrounded by nature. However, we must admit that we felt a bit nervous in the forest due to the lack of cell phone coverage and power supply, which meant we only had lights available. Additionally, the nights were slightly unsettling because of the strong winds, making it difficult for us to sleep well. Nevertheless, the incredible encounter with nature made it all worthwhile!"

The Rohana Estate is located in a beautiful area with amazing forests and mountains. There is a peak with 360° view on the surroundings. The view from our room was unforgettable. Rohana is a great host and advised us about the nearby attractions. The Sri Lankan meals cooked on site were delicious, we got even breakfast to-go when we went hiking prepared exactly the way we liked it. We felt very well taken care of. I had travelled to a few different places in Sri Lanka and several other countries and I can honestly say that the stay at Rohana's place was one from the top best. For nature lovers this is a perfect choice.

The super friendly and very communicative owner gave good tips for hiking and showed us a nice waterfall nearby. Our highlight was that he organized a night-out in the village, showing us around the rice fields and the temple and serving us amazing local food in the village in the traditional way. The property is gorgeous, the views from the room truly beautiful, the room decor just lovely. The pool and gardens superb. Very friendly and serviceable staff. I wish I could have stayed longer, and no doubt that under sunny weather, it must feel like the perfect place.
