I loved the town. It is a chance to see the real Morocco.
I loved the town. It is a chance to see the real Morocco. The people are genuinely friendly. The beach is beautiful. We had dinner in Snack El Bahri. A very nice seafood dinner for two with beverages for 15 dollars US. The town is lively and felt extremely safe. I want to return . .

Super Town with a buzzing vibe.
Super Town with a buzzing vibe.
We ate delicious lefts in the main square at the end of the souk. Pomegranate juice is my new favourite drink.
The fish market is clean and efficient with a grill restaurant above. What’s not to like?
The massive industrial plant to the south gave us some concerns in terms of pollution.

I went on a tour north along the Atlantic coast of Morocco. From Agadir in the south to Tangier in the north.
The land route was 900 km. I did not make a stopover in Rabat.
Agadir is a clean and neat city. Agadir was the most European-like city that I came to in Morocco.
If you want it to be a little more exotic, then El Jadida is an excellent place. El Jadida has all kinds of styles. The typical classic Morocco. The French colonial style. The old Portuguese medina-like style, as well as the modern Moroccan style.
Casablanca and Tangier are clean modern big cities.
I think Essaouira is a little over advertised. Essaouira has a large medina which is a tourist attraction. Safi was a paltry town not worth visiting.

We arrived at around 8 pm at the property and then had to wait nearly an hour be fore somebody arrived. The place was filty, bods were not made, the bathrooms a mess; some of the lights were not working etc. So we just left and check in the nearly hotel Ibis.

Definitely not ready for simple tourists, which sometimes can be a plus. But the entire citadel is running down, and the cisterns were closed because they collapsed. The city doesn't have the same feeling as other cities in Morocco - Azemmour, 10 minutes distance, has much more vibe.
Exceptionally clean and beautiful hotel. Many thanks to Kaoutar, who took care of the cleanliness of our room. Her work was admirable and her cleanliness impeccable. Also, a big thanks to the beautiful and kind receptionist, Bouchara, whose sense of humor and bright nature made our day beautiful. The hotel is located right by the sea. The rooms offer a wonderful view. Shops and the medina are within walking distance.
Clean, safe, friendly. Great location. Fabienne helped us with our train tickets & taxis. She also took us to Ammazour for a day. The breakfasts were very fresh and filling. Sahim cooked us a beautiful fresh fish dinner one night…served on the rooftop patio. The tajine meal we had at the market was one of the best we have had in Morocco.
We were amongst the first three guests staying at Oceana Mazagan Suites Hotel. The property had been taken over by a new owner, and the previously run down hotel was being renovated. Very nice view if you get a room with view to the ocean. Above KFC and opposite McDonalds - practical, as during our stay no meal services could be provided.
Mustafa, the owner is a great guy Who thinks about humanity.something we really need these days... Mustafa likes to help...
The place is calm and quiet and very near to a quiet beach... The centre of El jadida is also interesting... and as it is a small town.. It is very quickly reachable with the cheap taxis
Relaxing experience, Brand new hotel, very comfortable bed clean room.
The staff are very friendly and professional.
The area is so laid back and chilled with a nice beach view and many modern coffee shops and restaurants.
The hotel restaurant is really good especially if you like fish.
Location is great. Nice breakfast. Good decoration, local elements with a modern touch. Specious rooms. Terrace on top and the common saloon in the enterence are good.
We had to make a phone call and we didn't have a Moroccon line and they were very helpful about that.
Very worn out hotel. And Not very clean
Due to the proximity of the beach, it was noisy, as the windows are not closing properly.
Breakfast and diner needed to be paid at the restaurant itself, no possibilities to put on it on the room.
In short, not recommended.
Cozy opulence! A former governor’s palace transformed into a boutique hotel. The garden is lovely and peaceful, making it hard to believe you’re in the middle of the city. Hafid and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make our group feel welcome.
The stuff was lovely and provided a warm welcome. You will have the impression of staying at your private home.
The breakfast was very nice and the location is very interesting, not far from the old town of el Jadida (5min walking) as well
As the beach.
Pleasant and helpful staff, comfortable room, perfect central location and tasty breakfast. The hotel has reserved parking spots in front of the hotel, which was important for us. An overall positive experience.
Staff very welcoming and kind
Private beach with all amenities
Nice playing area and activities for children (children friendly place)
Big and clean rooms
Excellent hotel
