A terrific conversion of an old armoury with stunning bedrooms and a stylish cafe and restaurant on the ground floor. The staff all spoke excellent English which made the stay every straightforward. Well located in the small town of Woerden which meant that a pre dinner stroll was possible.

It was easy to find. The room was very pleasant and comfortable. The restaurant was very good and there was a very good choice for gluten free, with warm rolls available with dinner and at breakfast. Not a gluten free menu but meals were adapted where necessary.

service tray wasn't up to standard paper cups mean tea bags (into paper cups)Yuk? gentleman on reception very helpful thanks to this gentleman bag tea exchanged for b/tea ,breakfast room although large was so crowded not very organised sloppy cerial 1 of no choice sadly could have been better organised people running everywhere no routine selection average of b/food sadly we hated writing up this over/all of this beautifully placed hotel and free parking as standard paying what we paid was far from reasonable 170euro's 1 nite sadly wont stay there again but to those whom helped whist we were in there care E.G. gentleman helpful and nice attitude james williams.thanks to all concerned

Beautiful town with the town centre being easily accessible...
Beautiful town with the town centre being easily accessible by foot from the hotel within 5 minutes. Woerden has a lot of history with Roman artefacts being found in the town centre. I would have like to have seen more of the places to visit, the Castle, Churches, Stadhouse/Museum, Jewish Monument have more information in English displayed. There was information in Nederlandse but sadly I could not read it.

A town with a lot of history. A great place to spend a few days, great restaurants all around. Some shops nearby and a lovely walk around what once the defence moat which surrounds the town. Google earth it before you visit.DavidUnited Kingdom

We felt very welcome at the incheck. The breakfast was good and fresh. We could make our own vegetable juice and a cook baked your eggs the way we wanted them. We did not have lunch or dinner in the hotel, but it looked great. There is a very nice terrace too. The design inside the hotel and the rooms themselves is awesome and creates a cozy atmosphere. The room was of an average size, but a huge bonus - our windows were facing the cathedral which looks beautiful. The breakfast was very nicely presented with a welcome drink by the entrance, very tasty! There are sheep and some chickens around and birds singing. Wonderful quiet authentic holiday experience. House has everything you need for a family vacation. With the car we were able to reach half of Holland within 1 hour: tons of things to do. Woerden's city center is around 3 km by feet in the wonderful surroundings.AllaGermany

Sunday was free parking in all Woerden. The breakfast was great as were the lunch, dinner and snack options. The bed is huge and the pillows are thr best. We just felt that they all care about us when we were in the hotel, like they know us.

The shower in our room would not be my choice anywhere and should be upgraded to international hotel standard. Again quirky but not my style.
