Because I'm a bit disabled the shower set up was perfect for me. My son and I went to Nelson to visit unwell family members. Your hotel is perfectly placed, quiet, clean. We will stay in the Beachcomber next time we go to Nelson. We love Nelson. Would love to live there if we could.
Thank you and your nice staff. Diane Waugh & Stefan Pahl.

I can recommend Pomeroy's Cafe.on the opposite side of the Square for their delicious matcha laites. Nelson's many art gallerys are enough to satisfy the most avid art lover with the delightful, meandering walk out through Queens Gardens to Nelson's Suter Art Gallery and cafe, always a highlight.

Nelson is a lovely town, with beautiful hanging baskets and old, unique architecture, close to Tahunanui beach, which is lovely. The Saturday market is great and wandering around Nelson town is fun, there are some good small specialty shops. I enjoyed the museum and the Suter Art Gallery and Queens Gardens. It is also a great base to visit both the Marlborough and the Tasman regions.

The Art and Crafts I saw were excellent.
The Art and Crafts I saw were excellent. The Suter Gallery was a highlight, and I enjoyed the Cathedral. I really enjoyed the walk up to "the centre of N.Z" and the views from there. I had some very good food and liked looking at the architecture - e.g the villas and transitional villas in The Brook. Founders Park and Miyazu Japanese Garden were great. Also, having a craft beer at "The Free House", a church that has been converted into a drinking place( and painted with fun colours) was wonderful.

Friendliness and facilities were so nice.We had a lovely balcony with table and chairs.Near the beach. The lady I Ispoke to on the phone requesting a bath also came to greet us and she remembered me from our phone call and said enjoy your bath you deserve it. She must have remembered when I spoke to her previously we were going to be tired as we had come from a month of entertaining friends and family. This got us off to a great start. Then we were so happy to see how lovely our unit was.A Wonderful stay
We stayed in a very outdated house. It was clean and all the facilities worked. It was actually very pleasant for our extended family, including some that had a different room in the same hotel. The hotel owner said that this house was going to be either removated or replaced ( I can't remember which). It was great value for money, especially given that we were just passing through and had to stay there because flights were cancelled.
Absolutely wonderful. Brand New accommodation is modern and comfortable. Located on a hill overlooking Nelson, just a few minutes from the beach and city center. We had our own private terrace/garden. The bedding is the most luxurious we've had in our 3 week holiday and the breakfast spread and coffee/tea in the room went above and beyond. I would definitely come back to Nelson and definitely come back here!
Hey, I allmost never wrote any feed back, but Honeysuckle Hostel was special for me. The owner it is such a simpatic aged man and seems run this hostel at his own. Everything here was easy going in Diy, family style. Perfect fits to me.. It really takes me to the friendly mood of Nelson town.
Btw. It has really nice small garden, and you can also use some herbs for your cooking 👌🤌
Awesome hostel - the atmosphere was great, the staff was so nice and really took the time to show every guest at check-in where everything is at the hostel, but they also had some excellent recommendations for Nelson. The kitchen is spacious, the lounge is cozy, and the 4-bed dorm I booked was comfortable. The apple pie the staff made for all guests was an added bonus!
The staff and the motel owners are one of the most friendly people that I've come across through my years of traveling and staying at hotels and motels. The motel facilities are awesome as well. The motel also has a heated pool, which is open 24/7. The room that I had stayed in was exceptional as my wife and I enjoyed the private spa.
I arrived early and though I hadn't requested it, the friendly manager let me in early. The location is great and most of the place was clean. The bed was comfortable. If I return to Nelson, I would stay in the same place just because the manager was so nice and kind.
Lovely place. Delightful single room with a queen sized bed, en-suite facilities overlooking the courtyard and bay. The hotel food was excellent. Staff were super nice and very helpful in telling me great plces to visit. I would recommend this hotel.
This is the best motel accommodation we have stayed in for years. The apartments have everything you need, easy walk into the CBD. Will always book this when we go to Nelson - this is my second time and will be back. Excellent value.
Not only did did David provide the best experience I have ever had at a hotel. I would recommend staying here to anyone. When I’m in nelson again this will be the place I will be prioritizing to stay
