The staff were super friendly and helpful. The views were incredible, the food was the best we've had in the Philippines and the location was perfect for diving/snorkelling with dugongs. There's a private pier that the dugong operator (dugong dive center) picks you up from.
It is out the way from everything else but scooters are cheap to hire (and brought directly to the Riverhouse).
If you like wildlife, it's nice for that too. We saw plenty of birds, lizards and a palawan stink badger!
Lastly, hot water/pressure was fine. Would highly recommend. I'd love to go back one day.

If you come only for shipwrecks diving, Coron is definitely the place - but I was not impressed by the coral reefs and biodiversity in general. Consider Raja Ampat as alternative destination if you are not obsessed with shipwrecks. Coron town itself is a little ugly and dirty town but there are plenty of very good restaurants (owned unfortunately mainly by Europenas/Australians) where the food and service is excellent and absolutely surprising. Unfortunately, those are also the places where you find all and "only" the tourists. Coron is an experience - not a lot of culture, not a lot of sightseeing, but it's a gateway to beautiful waters. The hopping-island tours are terrible! They try to fit 20-25 people per boat - try to organize your private boat, it is absolutely worth the money! We enjoyed the day and the service provided.

Lovely area. The town is super charming and chilled.
Lovely area. The town is super charming and chilled.
The Islands around are amazing and it worth a visit.
Unfortunately the tours they offered are all a bit Rushy, not enough time to chill and enjoy each of the stops.

You should be physically fit before you go to Coron because there is a lot of hiking and climbing, but it is all worth it. The biew is spectacular and the experience is great. Fro the hotel staff, to the boats man and tour guide that we had. Thank you Coron. When you go there try to space out your activities. Like one day destination trips the next day rest

If you love nature and diving - this is the place to be.
If you love nature and diving - this is the place to be. One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever dived at - truly breathtaking
It’s nice if you rent a bike but it is also safe and easy to walk. Best place to dive was Siete Pecados and the 7-Stop-Island Hopping tour. Food was okay, you can eat anywhere without suffering food poisoning. But go easy on the food on the boat tour, not sure if everything was fresh…

Beautiful island with much to explore and quite reasonable...
Beautiful island with much to explore and quite reasonable prices.
The place is not overcrowded and has even parts of the island where you can have the whole beach to yourself.
The day boat trip through lagoons , lakes and cave was the highlight .
As a recommendation i wouldn't take the 18hour ferry again from Manila , just fly, even if it seems more expensive, you will save time and be comfortable on the beach rather than a ferry boat

The tours of the surrounding islands and interesting areas...
The tours of the surrounding islands and interesting areas are great, good snorkelling, crystal clear water. The town itself is pretty average, restaurants are OK at best, while some are outright terrible. Nothing to do in the town so don't get sunburnt like we did on the first day out (own goal, that one)! A couple of days are plenty here, then go exploring elsewhere, or make sure you book a hotel with a pool so you can enjoy a couple of days lounging if that's your thing, as the beaches are tiny and you have to travel a ways to get there.
Great location, lovely and quiet. Rooms were perfect, nice shower and excellent AC. Staff were great. I booked all my trips through the hotel and they were excellent. Thoroughly recommend the 3 island tour. This was my highlight in Coron.
Not too far to walk in to town or if you don’t fancy it you can get a trike which takes a few minutes.
Good on site was also great.
If I came back to Coron I would definitely stay here again.
The rooms don’t have a lot of storage or tables and chairs but it’s clean and confortable in general. In Coron, there is very frequent power outage during the days but if you are staying there as a solo traveler exploring the islands around it should be fine. There is an outdoor place with table and chairs that are confortable to eat, and it gets a draft so it’s agreable and not too hot during the day.
Two Seasons Coron is a very nice hotel. The property is clean and if you are going to the island resort the location is excellent. I liked the rooms, I liked the lobby and the meal I had at the restaurant was good. The transport for the rest of my family - arranged by the hotel - from and to the airport went smoothly and as agreed. This hotel was one of the best parts of our holiday in Palawan.
One of the best place to stay in Coron. The check in and out is a breeze. The whole place is clean and well maintained. They have traditional Filipino breakfast and pancakes. There is also water dispenser available in the ground and 2nd floor. Our room in the 3rd floor has a balcony with hanging clothes rack. The room itself has enough space. The staff is very accommodating.
Staff was so great. Willing to help with everything. They gave us a lot of recommendation on where to eat the local food, they arrange all the transportation and tour in the island. Also, knowing that we were in honeymoon they arranged a special gift. All day they provide treats to the rooms which is also amazing. I really recommend the hotel.
Nice basic room with AC and hot shower. Good water pressure. Complimentary breakfast every morning. The best thing is the lady owner. She is so nice, friendly, and she will happily fullfil all your requests: bike rentals, tours booking....
I will stay at Lily again if I ever come back to Coron Island.
Cosy, clean room. Location is great in a quiet part of town (other than the cockerels, but good luck trying to escape their dawn chorus in Coron). Reggie was super helpful and his restaurant recommendations were the best (and cheapest) food we had in the town. Culum Calenderia was our favourite.
The hotel is very clean and comfortable. We were going thru Coron and not there for a long stay. The staff was great. They arranged a van to the airport for 250 php ( about $5) per person which is very reasonable.
I like that it’s on a quiet street!
But very walkable to everything.
We were upgraded from MO2 to the Westown Resort across the street without explanation. Good, quiet locations for both MO2 and The Resort. Nice views and nice pools. Pertaining to the Resort: decent breakfast. Great last minute arranging of Island tour.
1) Being in an island offering an ultimate “paradise” tropical setting with clear water and powdery/sandy beaches and a great sunrise and sunset.
2) Medical care 24/7 RTC offered to guests who unfortunately got ill is of paramount benefit/importance.
Unparalled location and service. 10mins kayak away from twin lagoon. Rooms are perfect for relaxing and the lagoon which the houseboats are in is just perfect. Would never think of booking anywhere else if back in Coron or Palawan. Worth every penny.
The personnel was really kind and helpful, they helped us with reservations, transport and tips. The hotel was really clean, they helped us to clean our room when we needed it. The hotel restaurant was one of the best in Coron, serving Chinease food.
The location is beautiful and quiet, outside of Coron town. Vilma and Romel are extremely helpful and always willing to share their advice and knowledge of the island. The rooms are very clean and the view out of them in the morning is spectacular.
Bet and her family were very supportive with me, Bet and her daughter helped me to set up the excursions in the town and also the tour to do Island hopping. A nice family. Coron beaches and Island around are so amazing!!
The room is comfortable and tidy. The place is walking distance from coron town proper, which helps to easily navigate around nearby restaurants and café. Staff were accommodating and always ready to assist when needed.
Harbour Bliss is a freshly opened hotel in Coron. During our stay, we have felt it in the facilities and cleaness of the room. The manager was helpful with arranging an islands tour and transfer to the airport.
Family run business and the hotel is new, beds are comfy, location is very close to restaurants and the town proper.
A good place stay! I would book a stay here again on my next trip to Coron.
the hotel itself is clean and comfortable. it’s a bit small for what I would prefer. if I knew better I would have book an island resort because the cost was pretty much the same.
Comfortable hotel with nice breakfast, hot shower and a good bed. It is easy to walk to Coron town and there is a really coffee place nearby (Coffee Kong).
