The location was fantastic -just across the road from the beach. The facility was excellent with a pool - a rare commodity. It was very relaxing with many areas to just sit back and relax. The bartender would find where ever you decided to relax - inside or outside.
Situated 1000 ft from the Apulia Praia Beach, this hotel features modern, air conditioned rooms with balconies. There is an on-site restaurant and a terrace for sunny weather.

Was supposed to be in a mixed dorm but the host moved me to a small room with just one other girl. Felt like an upgrade! Nice kitchen and clean bathroom. Great location in a cute town.

The bedroom was large with a very nice balcony, comfortable bed, blackout shades and great shower with good water pressure.

All the good restaurants are outside Esponsende - mainly in Apulia. A nice little hike or short taxi ride. Bridge to Fao needs some TLC, at least if you walk over it. Fantastic views, but the rusty bits on the footpath high above the water are somewhat anxiety-inducing (and I even heard that from experienced Camino walkers ...) Would not walk over a second time ...

Esposende was one of the best places to stay that we have had on this trip for the Camino de Santiago. The people that run the hotel are wonderful and very friendly. Everything is very clean and they have a great lounge with a good kitchen to make what you want. I would recommend them and their rooms to anyone going to that area.

We thought everybody had left town.
We thought everybody had left town. The whole place was strangely quiet and deserted. We struggled to find an open place to eat. It was early September. A lot of derelict buildings.
Just about good enough for a one night Camino stopover.

We are an elderly couple who have been to the area many times since 1975 and never tire of it. It has not suffered overdevelopment like many other resorts. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the food and laid back style . The surrounding area such as Ponte de Lima is superb so a car enhances the experience.

Esposende is a nice little town and a cool spot for kitesurfing. When I was there it was quiet and relaxing. I couldn't find amazing places for lunch or dinner actually, but some nice local patisseries instead. Having said that, there is some offer, just not to the level I was hoping. The coast is nice, the wind strong, people are nice too, and it is very close to other nice towns in the north of Portugal

Very nice place with nice sea and the special cakes from Fao. If you are in Esposende you have definitely to go to get some "Clarinhas de Fão". Fão is on the south bank of the river. You can find them in a very small "pastelaria".
Beautiful views from Axis Ofir. The accommodation was really great. I had ocean views from the entire guest suite, including the balcony and even the shower.
I had dinner in the restaurant and loved everything about it. Their cream of vegetable soup was very tasty. I had a salad and the pasta Primavera to finish out an extremely healthy, tasty dinner.
In the morning I went to the breakfast buffet and enjoyed the assorted offerings, especially the fresh pastries.
Great escape from walking the Caminho Portugués.
The room and bathroom and outdoor breakfast area were spacious, comfortable and surprisingly stylish with a simplistic portugese flair. Everything was impeccably clean and tidy! Our hosts couldn't have done more to make us feel at home and served us lovely breakfast in our own picnic basket each morning. We appreciated the daily tips on where to go and what to see and also made use of the free bikes to explore further afield. We also found the beach in Fao far superior to the ones on the Esposende side of the river.
Location was perfect along the coastal route, just before Esposende. The staff were wonderful and helpful. I left before breakfast and they made me a small breakfast bag the night before. it was very kind! The balcony was nice and the AC unit worked well after a long day of walking. Located next to a modest restaurant with sufficient dinner options and kind staff.
I newer guesthouse in Esposende. Clean , modern and well run. An absolute delight. We had a family room with three beds, nice linens and a lovely shower. Walking distance to great restaurants. Breakfast in the morning which is included is exceptional and a good place to meet other pilgrims should you choose to do so. exceptional value.
I booked a hotel by mistake from Thursday to Friday
And when I called to ask for some solution of this problem, the hotel said that there is nothing they could do, as they have already charged full price!
But they even haven’t called me yesterday when I haven’t arrived because I planned to do it today
Worst experience
Everything is excellent in this house.special thanks for house owner because he help me alot he is very good heart person .the cleaning is super in the house all the things are comfortable if I will come again in esposende I will stay again in this house .the .most important thing I like it's traditional house ♥️♥️
Modern, clean, well appointed and comfortable. Was in private room with a bathroom and balcony. Could not ask more from a hotel, and this is a hostel! Cafes and supermarket close by. Large kitchen and lounge for use of guests. Great owner who is very helpful.
Everything was just perfect. The room was very nice and very clean, the staff was so nice to me and I just felt very comfortable and welcome after my hike on the caminho. Can‘t believe to get to stay in such a nice hotel for that good price.
A really cool hotel with great ambience. The rooms are clean and fresh. There is a very well equipped kitchen if you want to self-cater rather than eat out. Very close to the seafront on a quiet residential street.
The location was much further out than a 10 minute walk from Esposende bus station but worth the walk.
The accommodation was even nicer in reality than the photos. Very relaxed vibe and beautiful views.
Our room was very nice and spacious. The reception people were very helpful and polite. The pool was open. We stayed here as we were walking on the Camino. The hotel is in a good location.
They accidentally put me in a men’s dorm. Staff solved the problem and gave me a room to myself. Also packed me a lunch when I left early for the Camino. Close to the beach, very nice.
