Very nice and small town located less than 2 hours by car East of Lisbon and with extremely friendly inhabitants. The historic part of the town (Mouraria) is very nice, with its cobbled, narrow streets. In the Summer, the Amieira Beach, on the banks of the Alqueva Lake (the biggest man-made lake in Europe) is well worth it. The beach is around 20 minutes drive from Moura. There are a dozen other beaches. There's also several boat companies offering all kind of shorts trips around the lake. Alentejo's main export are its wines. Go and visit a proper winery in the region.

Moura is a nice town with a superb municipal outdoor pool in the summer and not far from the praia fluvial which is excellent on the Alqueva. However, Sunday nights are difficult to find a meal and it was August!

nice typical town in Alentejo, animated with young people at night, beautiful sights, unforgettable boat tours on the biggest european artificial lake nearby (Alqueva dam: saw wild turtles and many birds, only surrounded by nature)
Stayed here for one night and wish we could have stayed longer. This is a wonderfully clean and comfortable house. It was really comfy beds and all the things you would need for a short stay. The location is perfect for exploring the streets of Moura and can walk to anywhere in the town from here. Would highly recommend.
Great location, near the castle and many points of interest.
Nice restaurants all around, on walking distance.
Many beautiful places to see around Moura!
Super friendly staff! :)

Nice property in a quiet area but near the center of Moura, very friendly and welcoming hosts. Modern and comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast with homemade products and a good-sized pool. Beautiful Sunsets.
Beautiful and relaxing place. The pool area is great. Cosy and friendly overall. The food is good and worth trying. Hotel Manager was always available to help and makes a difference in the overall experience
Excellent location in the heart of Moura yet with ease of parking either on the street or the hotel's car park. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Lovely room, very comfortable and large bed. Breakfast.
Lovely building. Some rooms on 1st floor looked really nice with tiled decorations, balconies and features. Hotel had nice rooftop with views and pool at end of garden. Location good. Parking easy.
The mature garden and swimming pool area was a beautiful place to spend time in. It was quiet and rural but sufficiently close to Moura for restaurants and the reservoir for watersports.
Staff very accomodating moved us to ground floor room without us asking. Beautiful architecture with period features throughout the hotel. The bedroom was a good size and comfortable .
