The harbour and surroundings are very scenic.
The harbour and surroundings are very scenic. The town is quite quiet and there a lots of restaurants & cafes to eat at. The area is undergoing a huge investment with waterside appartments. Many of the old fishing related properties are being repurposed. Good local shopping opportunities. If you are a sailor and like the water there is plenty to occupy you.

Charming old world town.
Charming old world town. Visiting family so didn't take public transportation or hit tourist spots. Took train from Stockholm to Hudiksvall and that was a challenge because signs and ticket machines all in Swedish with no English.CherieUnited States of America

Breakfast is very nice and can be eaten inside or on the veranda. Unfortunately it was a bit too chilly in the morning but otherwise it would have been a stunning setting! The staff is supernice and helpful. In the lobby you are treated with free coffee or tea and cookies. We felt very welcome and it was an overall great stay.Sandra_Q.Germany
