the location is very rural, but easy driving to Santiago de Compostela. it is quirky and cosy, lovingly kept by Pilar. we had two peaceful nights here and would love to return for longer. It is strictly bed and breakfast, no jug, tea/coffee or fridge in the room but a great terrace to self-cater with snacks and wines, which is how we like to travel.

The home was beautiful, tastefully decorated and so well equipped! The kitchen in particular is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was also so appreciated that there was more than enough coffee and tea (Most places these days don't even give you enough for the number of days you're staying x number of guests, not the case here!). The property is stunning, the pool and hot tub were so lovely - the weather did not cooperate well for the pool so I used it as a cool plunge tub and then warmed back up in the hot tub. And even more than all of the above, Maria was the perfect host! She was warm, friendly, and helpful and greeted us upon arrival to show us everything and even left us some welcome treats :) she also helped us get the fireplace going which was much appreciated as we arrived on quite a damp, wet day.

Took us to dinner and dropped us back and printed our tickets for baggage transfer as we decided not to carry them the last day due to torrential rain forecast. Highly recommend

The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and the kitchen well equipped. It is located in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of Santiago. It is well placed for the road network and so a good base to explore Galicia. There is a Mercadona more or less opposite.
